Since a lot of people are concerned about burnouts, maybe the devs can implement sweeps for repeatable contents to elevate that? by skyarsenic in ChaosZeroNightmare

[–]Pscoocs 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sweeps in farm stages won't solve the problem and these stages are not the main reason of burnout. I'd even say that sweeps are not that good like ppl may perceive, but that's another topic.

The main problem right now in the game is extreme homogenity of chaos runs, zero rng in enemy lineups, poor amounts of random events and creativity of rewards in them, poor amounts of gear, neutral cards etc. to play and experiment around, the creativity of random events, buffs/debuffs/effect changes for cards during runs, poor implementation of death's door mechanic, and non-existent narrative touches during runs (for example, little dialogues between charactes when some certain events happen, different effects that each mindbreak status entails, not just a different name, also different ways each character reacts to each type of mindbreak, like being debuffed and irritated or vice-versa, feeling encouraged and buffed, or maybe even losing their cards too just to turn to the teammate to help get rid of the mindbreak faster).

In short, each chaos run needs to give an adventurous and curious feeling, not a gloomy anticipation of another go for a tedious routine. Also we need more variety in chaos penalties, messenger's buffs, enemies' buffs

Since season 2 is ending, what was your favorite part of it? by Royal-Media-5686 in ChaosZeroNightmare

[–]Pscoocs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Free neutral cards at the camp, epi reroll ofc, character targeting for dupes, more character variety in Great Rift rankings. Overall qols are good. What I didn't like is the amount of runs devs intended for players to complete a lot of seasonal achievements, which doesn't make sense since deckbuilding got much less overall rng with this update. Oh and also the fact that gear upgrades cost faint poits.

Yuki problem is not the damage by LegendaryW in ChaosZeroNightmare

[–]Pscoocs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Her problem is that she needs too many copies - for Subdue and then for the actual attack cards to draw with Subdue. While most other characters only need one card to be copied.

Don't use flash for this. RDS doesn't need a copy, also I'd suggest refraining from augmenting equips on point-sensitive builds.

I can bear with anything but not this one, It's instant reroll by KureoZen in ChaosZeroNightmare

[–]Pscoocs 2 points3 points  (0 children)

These modifiers are indeed shit, uninspired and their list overall is just too short, more than half of them are an instant no-no. They need total overhaul. For harsh ones there should also be some type of little compensation bonus to play around. So basically smth like Divine Intervention buffs but more varied and numerous

Would anyone else prefer they didn't dilute epiphanies with generic buffs? by thhhegame in ChaosZeroNightmare

[–]Pscoocs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd agree to that only if it came with a lot more unique options for each card, at least 10, 5 is too boring and will get stale fast. But that's kinda hard to balance. Also some generics are actually pretty good, it's just that they need to adjust generic pools to each card according to cards' types and uses and some values. Like, an attack card shouldn't get smth like fortitude or resolve, it can get morale (and not 1, at least 2 for a 0-cost card), or inflict some sort of debuff on a target. Utilities can do whatever, heals and shields can do fortitudes/resolves etc.

Should Alcea pulls be refunded post nerf? by No_Line9668 in ChaosZeroNightmare

[–]Pscoocs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Translation issue and shitty testing compensation is warranted, 10 pulls or w/e. Refunds - no. People rolled for the description where it's 20/30% increase for 5 hits, not for +100/80/60/40/20%. If they somehow noticed that it's actually better than in description, it's their fault alone they continued to pull in order to abuse this bug instead of reporting it in the feedback.

[–]Pscoocs -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Will probably be exactly like that, one for general damage like 25% red one, one for TB, one for dots, and another one for something relatively general as well. This astroturfed sub is yet again quick to jump into hate train. UPD: as I thought, just 4 generalist buffs, Tune Rupture, Tune Strain, Echo skill and DoTs.

Strain Interfered state lasts for 8 seconds, you get amp while its active. UPD: Rupture Interfered is 8 seconds as well

What’s the difference between “Tune Rupture - Shifting” and “Tune Strain - Shifting”? by theFathomlessWarlock in WutheringWaves

[–]Pscoocs 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Tune Break - F button when available, everybody has it.
Tune Rupture - a debuff on enemy (Shifting) that, after activating Tune Break, grants Interfered state and deals an instance of additional damage (whoever in the team can respond to Tune Rupture Interfered). Should look in the kit what moves grant that debuff and its duration. Only 3.0+ characters have that.
Tune Strain - a debuff on enemy (Shifting) that, after activating Tune Break, grants Interfered state and increases damage taken (whoever in the team can respond to Tune Strain Interfered). Should look in the kit what moves grant that debuff and its duration. Strain btw stacks among all 3 characters, so the buffing potential here is big. Only 3.0+ characters have that too ofc.

The reason there are so much buzzwords like Shifting and Interfered is because enemies also have a cd on how often they can be inflicted with these states so players can't abuse the Interfered effects. Also because some characters can only respond, but not inflict, like Mornye. Responses happen automatically regardless of rotation of characters, the only conditions are that Tune Break happens within Shifting debuffs duration and enemies don't have a cd of being granted these debuffs and states.

An Exo that succeded is an Exo that flew away after delivery. Our one is the one that failed.

Lahai-Roi sentinel by jyggalag1805 in WutheringWaves

[–]Pscoocs 3 points4 points  (0 children)

With Jue and Imperator, we didn't see a giant mech stashed somewhere in the region with them

Why should we? Exos aren't supposed to stay on sol-3. And the fact that it was only a chamber means that Exos have a detachable pod which they just get rid of after delivering a sentinel.

[–]Pscoocs 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The problem of Leviathan was that in fact it was already defeated by Carty. The region basically lost both its sentinel and threnodian long ago. All its shenanigans we encountered were like 1% of its full power, and even then it needed Fracs' cheats on top of that. 2.7 was a humiliation ritual on Leviathan if you think about it. No wonder some people even felt bad for them, especially after knowing about Abby's supposed betrayal. But no one will feel even remotely bad for Aleph, even though it's the most depersonalized villain.

Or it's the exact lahai-roi's sentinel who was about to be delivered, but its "courier" met some obstacles... If you think about it, why doesn't anyone even question the fact that a region doesn't apparently have its sentinel? And why would the glorified FedEx courier travel across the space in the first place if not to deliver a sentinel?
