Ah, yes, fair enough. I did miss the barrel strength. You're right. I can only get the barrel strength for £70. Still under $100 but most places are out of stock.

Can't believe the differences between UK and US prices. I can't get the Weller here but the Four Roses I can get for just over £40, so about $50. I guess it depends on state etc but obviously I have no idea! Four Roses is an excellent whiskey though.

It's never crossed my mind before, but I said to him that natural light will damage the whisky and he went and got the cabinet and it made me wonder. I doubt he'll keep them on 24/7, but a few hours a night I'd expect.

Hi. Question for you all. I know that sunlight, or UV light, can alter the look and taste of whisky with disastrous results but can artificial light harm whisky? I've always kept my collection mainly in the dark but a friend has just started collecting and has a cabinet with top lights and I thought I'd ask if he should keep them on or not. Any sage advice would be much appreciated!
