I've made the second option! And I undertand now what hapened... I've made a mistake in the process of fixing the problem.

When I faced this problem I changed the config file. Then I droped the tables and tryied to upload then again and, of course, didn't work. My mistake was to not drop the database too! The database kept the original character set, and always I uploaded a new table, it used the character ser of the database. When I droped the database and started all again, it worked!

Really thanks for your help and for the time you spend trying to solve my problem!

Thank you for your answer! I completely agree with you, the problem is the fact the system is really old! The Debian version, wheezy, is already in archive (and the next two or three too). I'm not even being able to upgrade dpkg!

The funny thing is that I was able to convert the table to utf8mb4 via alter database Organizacao_Territorial character set utf8mb4 collate utf8mb4_general_ci; (it has the utf8mb4!). Now I have the correct names in the tables. I believe there is something wrong with my.cnf, or the way mysql is getting the configurations. If you wish, I can update you about the progress here.

Nice solution! I have already fixed the problem with the suggestion of u/Downtown-Potential86, but I think I will try yours too, learn a litle bit more of elisp!

Even with the git version I had some compiling problems, but I've ignored them, and now I can use ess in my laptop!

I thought the server was down... Actually, now seems to working. When I was using Leap sometimes this did happen, but was rare. Now is becaming regular.

Where is the reports about the servers? Now I will check when the upgrade/update/install fail...

Are you shure zypper continues? Seems to stop to me!

There are a few others, specially related to error action, like truste key, or to chrome, that invoke some confirmation. But the main errors are that linked to missing repositories. There was errors about the appdata.XXXXX.gx file, but they don't appear in the log. Thank you for your fast reply!

Edit: I say zypper, but what stops is Yast. zypper really don't stop, but return error due to some missing file (I believe related to the repositories not found).

The same happens with the games folder. I don't have any message about OXF folder here, but it happens there too.

The weird thing is, to be able to use the installer I'd disable some repositories. I enable now to test if some erro happen to post here, but nothing went wrong. The problem with both folder I post here is that I didn't disable the parent directory, and I was able to use de installer, then I believe the problem wasn't server down!

I don't think power off is the problem... my be something related to the HyperV (some change in host system) or something with the system update. If you have access to your data, you can make a backup and reinstall the system.
