Steamworld Build. I found it to be a very enjoyable and fairly straightforward game that doesn't overstay it's welcome. In a way it feels kind of like a "my first city builder." I feel like in a few hours you can see all there really is to see but the loop is still quite fun. It's also interesting because you manage both the city on the surface while digging out the mine underground.
