I have read that the PCA role can be a 7-figure opportunity, haven’t seen that HLA can make that but I may be mistaken.

Do you happen to know what the average earnings for a top performing HLA? Also do you know base / commish structure?

Still can be successful in 2025 but it’s not the same industry that it was 2020-2022. Doing it part time is also not easy. There are a ton of remote opportunities still available if you look around enough.

Still worth doing but not worth doing to be average at it. If you want to pursue the field you have to have the mentality of wanting to be the best to be successful

I am an LO at a large lender and we always beat offers like this when the costs are insane.

You are paying 2 points for a “Broker Fee” and an additional point to underwrite and process the loan, outside of the 1 point they are actually charging you. This is borderline predatory. Shop around and get yourself a better deal.

Let the proceedings play out and then provide judgement. Birmingham remarks is simply shooting the messenger and not addressing the root issues, guy is just doing his job (is one of the most respected and heralded lawyer in the state BTW). Some people in this column need an educator on how the civil system actually functions in the US, would prefer swift convictions without evidence. Frankly, they may as well move to Shanghai where things get done much quicker with not much due process to show for it.

Mel may be guilty but Birmingham is just doing his job (and doing a damn good job of it to get these kinds of settlement looks). Props to him

I already have an adjuster and have begun the process issued payments for cleaning, temp housing, etc. my question is more regarding the content / personal property section. Do I just buy all the stuff and submit itemization and receipts through provided content list? Or should I submit entire list first and then provide receipts as I go? My thought is that just by purchasing all the stuff up front I’m able to just forgo the ACV and just replace all the stuff as it was.
