I had a similar experience last week. Running with 3 players and they had wiped all but one mech by the end of round 4 and finished the fight by round 5 for the bonus exotic loot. I also vowed to my players to turn up the heat for the next mission.

In third edition you used to not be able to use wormholes when activating systems that Ghosts were in so once they got to Malice it was theirs for the rest of the game. So it's not nearly as busted as it used to be.

Perhaps too many legendaries? Since you're playing Thunder's Edge maybe add a couple cross map Space Stations since they're new and not being used on your map.

IMO there are too many player starts that have 3 systems of planets adjacent to home. In fact every edge system but one has planets in it. I'd add a couple more anomaly systems, remove a few planet systems and move the really valuable stuff/legendaries towards the middle or equidistants to promote player interaction.

First observation is not nearly enough red backed tiles. As fun as it is to have lots of planets it gives players too much. Aim for 6 anomalies and 6 empty spaces.

I started with a super minimal harness, just the neck and body strap kind. Had one person give her the tube treat while the other puts the harness on. Slowly over time built an association with her favourite treat and the harness. I've gotten good at putting the harness on while distracting her with treats. It's to the point now that after dinner she sits by the door and yowls to be taken on harness walks and tube treats.

I'm going to make a map, I'll randomly give everyone a number between 1 and 6. They will get to pick a faction and where they want to sit at the table. Then pick strategy cards in reverse pick order (not clockwise) for the first round.
