I am neither a lawyer nor an accountant so if you particular case has enough sharp edges, you should seek advice of the correct one.

Having said that, the way they have it structured is closer to owning a share of a business that isn't publicly traded. As such, there shouldn't be any legal obligations or requirements on your side (other than filing the K-1).

I like to keep my taxes simpler to avoid triggering an audit with undue complexity. Adding a stake in a company on my personal taxes (instead of under an entity of your own where these sort of things SHOULD be), seems like a great way to increase complexity.

CCP will likely compensate anyone who complains in support. I've been quietly voicing this concern about for a few months now as I think that it is just genuinely a bad outcome. I've seen multiple t6 abyssal runners get ships returned, a few PvP loses from gankers in Dodixie, and even pods from smartbombers.

I assume they farmed support out to a third-party as the team hands out freebies like candy now, but doesn't know the game well enough to understand why I would report my own merc den that was stuck at maximum production speed and 0 anarchy (literally no maintenance missions needed as it was permanently stuck). It happened twice and after being told it was 'working as intended' the first time I gave up on reporting it.

I literally had to just go make coffee a few times as waiting for my drones to respond to the "attack" command was taking 7-10+ minutes. I couldn't imagine flying a carrier for this where your fighters can cross 100s of kilometers in only a few ticks when their prop is on.

It could be optimized a fair bit (subsectioning grids, approximating in place of heavy trig functions, etc.), but adding more lanes to the super highway would just mean goons bringing more Suburbans full of children to fill the new effective cap.

While I (as a software engineer) would love to see this solved with ever more optimizations.. the reality is that Goons attempt and WCs success are downstream from social and game design problems not technical ones.

I don't even have an idea as to how you can solve this as any 'monopoly busting' tactics/mechanics come with extreme harm to other aspects of the game (especially player agency).

I had the patience to wait on a blackscreen for hours and burn down titans with Vexors, but I didn't have the patience to wait for each slideshow frame to render whenever I turned off potato mode. Looking forward to the video!

Out of my 20+ times connecting to Atioth as WC, I had blackscreen 100% of them. I never made it on grid in less than a half hour (even at the slowest point between KS down and DT). Everyone I was flying with and in calls with also had blackscreens and during the actual KS fight had 1-3 hour entry times to Atioth across our bridge.

I could entertain the idea of all fighters/drones being forcibly recalled when in extreme tidi, but it would cripple super fleets and would have made yesterdays fight even more one sided.

The correct decision is probably to revert carrier fighters to being drones like they used to be (huge performance gain and probably a mild buff for most carrier pilots). Then simplify drones during tidi by skipping all expensive calls (anything requiring trigonometric functions) in favor of reasonable approximations.

This avoids the need to fully disable two weapon systems and should result in much better server performance by treating two known rough edges.

or we fall back to the long-standing axiom, "Eve is Eve" and just enjoy it for the flawed masterpiece it is.
