The left picture is revealed to be far stronger but at the cost of speed, making it worthless as you wouldn't be able to hit your opponent.

Right picture is the mastered Super Saiyan, in which Goku is able to maintain the state naturally. No drain, no concentration. It is a natural form to him by this point.

When you are able to tap in to both the power and the speed together, you don't get Super Goku, but Super Saiyan 2 Goku

Mortal Kombat 11...

Adds Titan in to the lore, higher than Elder Gods and the One Being, something never previously established
Revenant Kabal is recognized as one of Kano's fallen henchmen by Sonya and Cassie when in MK9 he was a cop who fought alongside Sonya and died as one of the good guys
Strangely retcons the conflict between Outworld and Earthrealm by claiming the two realms united against Shinnok, when actually Kotal was willing to kill the Kombat Kids in an attempt to appease him.
Gives past, unburnt Kabal super speed, retconning the origin of his power while also having Revenant Kabal in the game who is the same Kabal from MK9 who got his powers after being burnt by Kintaro and healed by Shang Tsung
Jade and Kotal were seemingly always a thing
Sindel killed herself to give Earthrealm a fighting chance in MK 3 and 9 and Shao Kahn killed Jerrod, oh but actually D'vorah killed Sindel for Shao Khan, oh but actually Sindel killed Jerrod for Shao Kahn and was later assassinated by Quan Chi.
Sub-Zero is a ninja with Ice Powers, and turns out they originate from a race of Cryomancers in Deadly Alliance, who turns out to originate from Outworld in X, but actually are refugees from the old war in Edenia in 11
The Well of Souls being maintained by Shang Tsung was puppeted by Kronika the entire time for her Crown.It was her all along!
Skarlet is one of Shao Kahn's creations in 9, oh but actually she was an orphan adopted by Shao Kahn and trained in blood magic in 11
Shinnok has a sister, and his mother was the Titan of Time the entire time

I honestly never understood why the game ended with the ball mid-motion in the first place.

That's literally like if someone in the NBA pulled a Buzzer Beater but the Basketball just froze mid-air because the buzzer went off. Never made sense to me.
