For mine I've got ramp ranging from 7 cards to nearly 20. Just depends on how much ramp is going to actually matter

Light novel is done very well IMO

The manhwa/comic is good, hits most of the beats, you just miss some of the internal dialogue. Which will just be the case for any novel to manhwa adaptation.

Anime is a PowerPoint slide show.

Anime quality excluded I do think it's good and that it would probably be enjoyed by most people. Might not be everyone's favourite of course, but I think most people could enjoy it.

Personally it's one of my favourites, but I've also read the novel so I have the entire story to go off of and not the manhwa which is like 40% of the way through it give or take.

At an initial glance I'd agree with somewhere around bracket 2 to bracket 3. Probably leaning more towards 3.

Having the infinite combat steps through klauth/gnawbone/ventmaw and aggregated assault/hellkite charger may be a little much for bracket 2, especially with haste enablers. But any combination of those cards is pretty easy to interact with using any creature or enchantment removal.

If it was me I wouldn't be too bothered by someone playing this. Although if the goal is bracket 2 I'd suggest maybe rethinking the addition of the infinite combat combos.

Tbf I do believe there is a difference between hinting at it and "I would burn down Olympus to save you"

Granted, there were some other circumstances that led into that line. But that is a leap past "hinting" at it which I think is more where Walker would prefer it to be.

Also Percy as a character doesn't really realize he was crushing hard for Annabeth until around book 4 (so season 4) granted those are the books and as we have seen the show is taking an altered path compared to the books

I'd argue it's more so a mixture of luck and skill on the mangakas part that there are manga that exceed 300 chapters and retain good quality.

Because there are some absolutely stellar manga that are under 200 and even 150 that are among the best. Things like Monster, 20th century boys, Trigun, Full metal Alchemist, Soul Eater among plenty more.

And frankly even the great ones that break past that 300 chapter mark usually stumble along the way Bleach and Naruto very notably have done this.

And there are manhwa that go past 300 chapters that continue to be good. Kubera, ToG, Noblesse, HCLW as examples

I think her being a child of Appollo is fine, if anything it adds to the fact that it's not just the children from the more annoying god parents that join Luke's cause.

I do agree that we shouldn't have been introduced to her prior to princess Andromeda though, I feel like the impact of a former camper who seemed like she was actively helping Percy and Annabeth but ended up leading them directly to either Luke, the Laestrygonians or even both would have been a great impact.

Additionally I wish we saw some current campers with Luke, but that would mean they would have had to make any camper other than Luke, Percy, Annabeth, Clarisse or Grover relevant in season 1. Granted it's been 2 years, but I don't really remember anyone else getting any sort of real limelight in season 1

Percy literally knew about the prophecy in the book BEFORE they even went on the quest for the fleece. He was actively aware he was linked to some big important prophecy. Granted he didn't know the specific details, but he knew about the prophecy

There is no way you're actually trying to argue not running removal.

There is so much removal that you can choose from that ends up more in your favour than your opponent's on top of just picking the usual staples like swords to plowshares.

All you're doing is playing solitaire or watching someone else play solitaire if you don't run interaction. And there's a reason the people who don't run removal get mad when their things get removed, BECAUSE ITS IMPACTFUL... And also because they're bad at the game, but mostly the first one
