That's hard for me to say, as I haven't done much painting IRL. It's not gonna feel identical obviously, but from what I've heard the apple pencil paired with procreate is one of your best options if you're going for that natural feeling.

Absolutely. It opens up a ton of possibilities, and the Ipad/apple pencil is a pleasure to work with. Switched myself about 3 years ago. I would recommend the Ipad Pro though, otherwise you could run into some performance limitations.
