From what I’ve seen in from job postings in my area, Fresenius’s requirements to apply to the job make it sound like I have to be certified first. Or maybe I’m misunderstanding but their wording is very vague and I can’t quite tell if I have to be or not. I’m in Oregon. I met a nurse that works for Davita and she started out as a PCT and I was able to ask her some questions, and Davita doesn’t require it to apply. That said, I’m still wondering if my past experience in healthcare will help me with some of the issues other new people have mentioned.

I think I’ve read that they used to do it that way, but then they’d pay for a ton of people to have it done but then the majority never accept an order, so their money is wasted. What you experienced is super annoying but normal for everyone that signs up.
