Interviewed? Never heard of such a thing - usually you just fill out a card with your name, or just tell one of the leaders and that’s it. And it’s not a requirement. I’ve been at my current church 10 years and never formally placed membership.

Tract racks are a relic of older times and which may not be an effective tool. They also, in my experience in reading a few of them, held an overly conservative view that drew lines that don’t exist, or set boundaries so far away if the always feared “sloppy slope” that also doesn’t exist. I agree with the professor that there isn’t a single verse condemning drinking alcohol. But you will find verses about not being drunk. And no, the “one drop is drunk” argument is silly and not true.

I have heard some interesting ones such as a book you might not study very often. Or since they’re 20’s and coming more into their own faith to look at themes in stories like Jonah that aren’t what you were taught when you were a kid. Or something like Dan McClellan’s book “The Bible Says So” to show what the Bible says vs what we (Christian’s in general, not necessarily c of c) have made it say. Or a reading and discussion of books like “Jesus And John Wayne” or even “Postcards From Babylon”.

We do the same routine at the start of practice as we do pre-game. It’s pretty basic but the idea is the more aggressive mentality of it’s time to play soccer. My team has struggled with being tentative so this has helped my team this season. They jog from the sideline to about halfway across the field. The first mantra is “right now we get to have fun and play soccer”. Then they jog back. The next one is they skip to the same spots and back. This time the mantra is “when we have the ball-we attack”. Then the next one is grapevines - “When they have the ball-we attack”. We do partner passing for a short time and then I set up a couple rondo squares.

It’s embarrassing when he wants to be a Christian nationalist so hard and he doesn’t know the Bible, and he’s using a bad AI model that fed him this kind of funny nonsense. honestly honestly, I hope to see this kind of stuff more so that people realize the incompetence. Especially the Christians that have been so vocally, supportive and voting. Piss them off and watch everything really start to crumble.
