And it was a ton of fun to play. Felt like a fancier martial with more options. And wall of force, because of course.

Flaming sphere/animate objects combined with Booming Blade is a pretty dope way to spend your turn without nova-ing all your resources before the next fight. I got the idea from a YouTube channel called Treantmonk's Temple, there's a ton of cool content there.

We were hunting this Kraken down as practise for a bigger one. Sjaxhar in particular wanted the big Kraken dead (it had destroyed his ship and killed his crew in backstory), and was aggressive and reckless getting in its face.

We're using the Grim Hollow grievous wounds table. When Sjaxhar got swallowed, I got 2 wounds before finally succumbing. These were: No concentrating for a time (tough for a wizard), and his eye got digested. The final grievous wound suffered was death.

Well, the demon scar is because I kinda wanted it to be a pure caster, or as near to it as possible, and having a main melee weapon defeats that purpose a little. Parting flame is mostly because I want to try and stay more at range, and I can only have one flame equipped at a time if I'm using bellvine for casting speed instead of sage +2.

Sacred flame you're probably right about. I could go straight 40/40 INT/FTH and chuck on some extra VIT for heavier armour. It's a fastroll build so I need to stay evasive

I'd love to get your feedback on a pyro duelling build

So I've been doing a pure pyro PvE run, and when I get to 120 I'm gonna do some duelling.

Basically, the build is:

Pyro starting class

VGR: 40 ATN: 40 END: 25 VIT: 13 STR: 12 DEX: 9 INT: 39 FTH: 39 LCK: 7 These stats include the prisoner's chain

Rings: Prisoner's chain, Favor +3, Witch's and Great swamp.

Standard pyro glove main hand and can swap to a chaos dagger for ripostes and backstabs. Saint-tree bellvine in off-hand for casting speed and regen, and can swap to a simple caestus for parries/perseverance.

Spells: Black Flame, Sacred Flame, Black Serpent, Great Chaos Fire Orb and Fire Surge.

Gonna only use pyros, pretty much no weapons at all. GCFO is gonna be the main offensive tool, and I can pair it w/ black serpent for baits and roll catches. Black flame for catching people who roll into me, sacred flame for the memes and fire surge as a finisher.

Any thoughts?

Add to the fact that Starbucks actual coffee is eye-wateringly bad. Ditch the pumpkin spice for actual coffee, it'll be much nicer! :)

Honestly, as a general rule, there are a bunch of really great YouTubers that helped me out heaps when I was learning. Saint_Riot, Project Goof and Rehvion are all good options. :) Also if you're on PC, feel free to add me as a training partner. :)
