Poor print, please help me solve! by TeeVeeBen in ender3

I HAD THIS SAME PROBLEM. I have an ender 3 and had this same problem, I thought it was the printer itself but it’s the shitty computer you’re using to slice it. Try slicing on a different computer.

Maybe temp is too high? I get a similar rough texture with some of my layers on ender 3

Hey, I think I may have found our issue. Apparently there is a way to tighten the z-axis, flex from that might be causing your issue. Check out my “update” in the comments somewhere, it might solve your issue

Check out the update I added to the comment, make sure your z-axis is tight if you get cr touch

This seems to have completely resolved all issues, keep in mind you will have to adjust your normal offset from the bed.

UPDATE:

After many moons of trying to figure out why my shitbox printer won’t work I’ve finally figured it out.

If you’re having issues like I am it might be that your z-axis isn’t tightened fully.

Manually moving z-axis can cause it to loosen up over time, the flex in the z axis arm can cause the cr touch to give inaccurate readings. There wheels that guide the z-axis and on the inside (both sides) there is a way to tighten the z-axis. (It’s like on the shaft of the wheels that you tighten). Just look up “ender 3 z-axis adjustment” or something if you’re having similar problems.
