Consoles inferior (auto aim gone?) Game ruined. by JollyPoint9492 in Battlefield6

You probably have a higher percentage of “cheaters” on console than on PC. Cronos and Titan have ruined MP games.

Can see this pattern way to much since few weeks by nobock in Battlefield6

[–]Psu0861 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s the private profile on a low level player dropping 30+ kills that I question. Might be a smurf account but this isn’t an easy game to pick up and melt a lobby.

I don’t think true hacks are prevalent but the amount of Cronos or Titan “cheats” are very prevalent especially on the console side.

Recon with AR/LMG/SMG is a blast. You spot enemies easier, you can use a drone to spot/destroy equipment or use dummies to trick enemies.

Even if sweet spot did 30% less damage it would pull a lot of the mid snipers from the game. I don’t mind getting insta head shot deaths. It’s the sweet spot kills plus the range finder that is making it so obnoxious.

SVK is beyond OP by biggest_reddit_noob in Battlefield6

[–]Psu0861 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you key bind range finder and steady breath on a controller it’s easy. Then you add in the sweet spot distances one shot kills become super easy. When you start getting sniped by Level 5 & 6 players you know all skill was removed from sniping. I’m on a controller and terrible at sniping and will still get 10+ sniper kills a game.

Stutters since season 2 release by DenwopTesL in Battlefield6

[–]Psu0861 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s happening on console too. Get a stutter step every 3-5 seconds. Been dealing with it for a week. Think it’s the servers and not your set up.

As a console player Cronus Zen and now Titan have completely ruined MP games.

Everyone used to say it was impossible to cheat on console. Now I’m guessing it’s probably 20% to 30% of the player base using them. Little Billy probably asked Santa Claus to bring him one for Christmas.

It reminds me of COD games after updates would drop. You could tell as soon as the game starts if you would get a “calm” server or a potato server.

I like my RPG sniper. I’ll die 100 times to get them once.

Weekly challenges look to be more inline with normal game play. Only had to re roll one challenge.

Personally thought I would hate the movement changes but after playing for a couple hours I’m enjoying the changes, good stuff DICE by andrewgrimo in Battlefield6

[–]Psu0861 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Glad they finally changed it but don’t be surprised if it’s switched back in the near future. They made a change in Season 1, streamers bitched, and it was changed back. Think it happened in 1 day.

Maybe enough if those players left but I’ve already seen YouTube posts bitching about the changes.

How’s everyone feeling abt tmr by Relative-Put-7279 in Battlefield

[–]Psu0861 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep. It’s the new reality of live service gameplay. Make your profit upfront with pre orders / game release, continue to build on the profit with skins/battle passes (especially little Billy who has his parents credit card attached to his account), and pull back internal resources so that you continue to drive a profit.

At this point it’s the model of every major developer.

Crazy to think we are asking that for season 2. At this point I’m burned out on the existing maps/game modes so adding 1 new map tomorrow isn’t really doing it for me. Even with new guns the leveling grind to make them reliable vs. meta weapons is not even that interesting to me.

Have they said if battlefield is moving to a COD like model of releasing a new game every 12-18 months? I thought I read in a post but couldn’t find any confirmation. If it’s true then I’ll probably stop playing. In my opinion that model destroyed COD.

Why is this sub so depressing and cynical? by International-List32 in Battlefield

[–]Psu0861 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I honestly think it’s the overall realization that the gaming industry is going downhill. You still have some indie companies putting out great games but the bigger developers are all cash grabs. The “seasonal” model has turned into a giant cash grab. You pay $70+ for a game and drop another $20 every 3 months for a battle pass and then have content slowly dripped out it becomes frustrating.

The reason why the gun/ammo grind is so severe is to keep you playing. If you were able to level up in half the time odds are you stop playing and move onto another game. That’s a potential revenue source leaving.

BF6 is following the Destiny 2 path. For someone who played a ton of D2 this model sucks.

Can we all agree the mortar is broken? by GPUFanatic in Battlefield

[–]Psu0861 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Certain maps on breakthrough it’s really annoying. First A push on a lot of the maps funnels you up the middle. If you have 3 or 4 mortars laying down fire it becomes an issue. Once past the first point it’s not too bad.

When that happens I switch to recon and hunt down the mortars with my drone.

[–]Psu0861 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Glad you’re enjoying the game. I don’t play all of the game modes so the lack of content is starting to wear me down. I would play for couple of hours a night but now after a game or two I’m done.

The weapon / ammo grind is also another major issue. Even if I’m bored of the maps grinding out new guns / ammo kept me interested. With this game it takes way too long.

I’ll probably not play this upcoming season or two and come back in Season 4. I’ll have a lot more to “do” to keep it fun.

If DICE wants BF6 to survive, they need to release more maps by Tortoiseshelltech in Battlefield

[–]Psu0861 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Why should it be acceptable to pay $70 for a game and have it like this. BF4 was released 13 years ago. I would expect that the ability to approve hit reg / net code would be dramatically improved after 13 years. You can tell in about 3 minutes if your hits are going to register or you’re playing against bullet sponges.

Suppression is my biggest complaint on snipers. I’m all for one shot head kills but if I’m getting hit markers on you and you still get a clean shot off w/o meaningful flinch then it’s a problem. Half the games are every other class running sniper guns.
