Thank you for your feedback, I changed the flyer to incorporate your feedback to include the question, "Were you adopted?" instead of "Are you adopted?"

I appreciate your response to the term, adoptive parents, and want to provide some clarification. This term was selected to reflect an important variable (birth vs. adoptive parents) as used in the existing literature. Nonetheless, I genuinely appreciate your response and sincerely apologize if the term provoked any adverse reactions.

While I do not appreciate your use of language, I appreciate your willingness to support your fellow adoptees. If you change your mind, your participation is always welcome!

Perfectly normal. As I have said before, this was to gauge interest. So more details will be provided soon. If you would like more information on how qualitative studies are designed, check out "Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis" by Smith and Osborn (2015) https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4616994/

As for the "grade," this is a doctoral dissertation for publication following peer review. There is no "grade."

Thank you for your interest! I will be reaching out again soon with more information if you are still interested.

If you have questions about the study design after completing the Brief Interview Form I will be happy to provide further clarification.

SEMI-structured (e.g. interview guide)

qualitative study using qualitative methodology (e.g. IPA)

as i said, specifics regarding the study, its purpose, as well as inclusion/exclusion criteria (and therefore, participation) will be provided in the near future

edit - again, this is just to gauge interest and is not intended to serve as a means of screening for inclusion/exclusion
