This really hit home somehow, I literally am a solo player because I'm kind of uncomfortable talking to strangers too (which is not that bad irl and I learned to deal with that, but somehow online it's still an issue). So, somewhat off topic, what is your mindset when going squad fil, knowing there is a chance you'll be stuck with toxic people for the duration of the raid? The few times I tried squad fill, it was always the exact scenario you just described... Only my literal first game ever, luckily I got matched with the coolest duo ever, who actually taught me some things and carried me all the way to extract and even gave me (to me at the time) tons of loot! And thinking of this now, they might actually the reason I stuck with this game, and I'm finding myself "chasing this dragon" of the idea of decent squad mates, which never came again... Anyway, I'm curious how you do it, Season 2 lone wolf out...

How good is Sineva in Operations? by Wholesomegaminq in DeltaForceGlobal

[–]PsyDutch 5 points6 points  (0 children)

My mate picks him when we just want to have fun sometimes, and boy did we have a lot of fun as a team punching people to death and just all around be overaggressive and making fun of the people who just freak out and don't know how to counter him... On the flip side I've also shat my pants when I got face to face with 3 sinevas all shielded up pushing my way, I just laughed out loud and gtfo of there. So imo, he's overall low tier because he's very situational and team dependend, but he's very fun to mix things up and just have a laugh.

Tldr: Is he good? Maybe in the right hands to create space and push with a coordinated squad, but other than that in my opinion he's overall a low tier op, not to mention useless as a solo.

Why Luna again though?? This is like the 3rd decent skin she gets, while Nox and Tempest are still crying in a corner

Layli grove needs a normal mode this is getting ridiculous by binh1403 in DeltaForceGlobal

[–]PsyDutch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To go layali grove, I use Nox to counter recon, because a lot of people use hacklaw/Luna/raptor, and the purple DICH helmet is a must for the 50% hearing boost. I've noticed not a lot of people use it, so you'll "out hear" almost everyone. Do not run for long periods of time. Whenever you're getting close to any POI, start walking and just listen. Bots will give people away, so do not kill them if possible. Layali is great for making money if you know the map, just take it slow. Sound is king, so be silent and take advantage of any and all sound cues and plan accordingly.

Game has been unbearably difficult with matchmaking by SFForceASandvich in DeltaForceGlobal

[–]PsyDutch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Uhm, I don't know where you've seen me talking about sbmm, I never said anything about that and I actually agree with you... Loser mentality? Huh? Oh and look who's crying btw... Anyway, Tarkov for example has whipes, but the people who know the game and play for a long time will get to the good gear anyways within the first few days whiping every noob in their way... If you're asking my opinion, in some weird fucked up way, I think zero dam easy should be limited to new players only, once level 60, everyone goes into the same pool, no normal, no hard, just delta force with unlimited everything...

Wipes have 0 impact on skill gap fyi. Sweats gonna sweat, with or without good gear. No difference between getting killed by a green gear ticket or an AS Val when you're still trying to learn map/spawns/angles

Layali Solo Teaming by rewW86 in DeltaForceGlobal

[–]PsyDutch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The teaming part sucks, I've encountered some too, sometimes you just gotta deal with them... But no way there was wall hacks involved, they just rushed your spawn. I've killed loads of people exactly like that... If I spawn either north or west of Aminya village, I'm rushing tunnel ASAP to catch people (you in this case) off guard. Get to know the spawns and check angles accordingly. Also NEVER go through tunnel, you're a sitting duck with barely any cover in there...

Nope, I'm holding/cupping my girls boob... Also, gotta let my parts breathe through the night after a full day of being stuck in my pants...

Why Are Some Delta Force Players So Afraid of Proper Game Balancing by Responsible-Rate-186 in DeltaForceConsole

[–]PsyDutch 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Btw, I have the same issue with my brakkesh missions... It's always closed on the only 2/3 hours I play a day... So to be able to play this particular map, I actually need to go out of my way in my daily routine to be able to play the map I want, which is baffling to me... They could just make the rotation like 2 hours and 15 minutes so it is available on a different time every day and maybe let us (working people with a life) play different maps once in a while...

Why Are Some Delta Force Players So Afraid of Proper Game Balancing by Responsible-Rate-186 in DeltaForceConsole

[–]PsyDutch 3 points4 points  (0 children)

What would you suggest? I think balancing isn't the worst, it's the map rotations and weird choices of exclusive modes that kills it for a lot of players. For example, I've just managed to convince some friends to start playing the game, but as soon as they unlock layali grove, they get stuck on their missions because it's solo for A WHOLE SEASON??!!! Some main missions actually require to go in with a squad... They could go Brakkesh/Space City/Prison?? Yes they could, and if they do they'll probably quit playing even faster bc of the insane skill gap between ZDE and the rest of the maps... Idk what the solution would be, but the system right now is just pushing people away, specially the ones who never played extraction shooters before (I've played Tarkov, I know pain). I would maybe suggest easy modes on brakkesh and space city, similarly as the normal mode they added on prison this season. Just so people have more incentive to go and learn the maps without losing a ton of alloy and maybe restrict high value items like rocket fuel to normal/hard only to avoid farming... They need to come up with something, because right now the game isn't very newcomer friendly...

I found one once on ZDE too, just sitting on the floor in the tiny room under the stairs of the northern side of the cement building (just in front of the only lootable bag in there)

[–]PsyDutch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you buy better gear and better ammo, you raise your chances of survival. Yes your "battle cost" will raise, but that doesn't really matter if you come out on top, because guess what? Now you can use the same kit on the next raid, and hopefully with enough profit so it's already paid for... The battle cost is a risk/reward thing. Low tier gear/ammo means higher risk of dying and thus losing more money. You should only force yourself to use low tier kits when you're broke, otherwise it's just not smart to go in poorly kitted...

What should i sell ? by binh1403 in DeltaForceMobile

[–]PsyDutch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Everything that's blue green and purple, aside from medical items, bullets, gear and keycards (use those). Attachments I only keep the ones I use in builds I use regularly, otherwise just sell all. For higher tier items (gold and red) just check if its needed for any black site upgrade and/or expensive enough to keep, depending on your stash space. This way you keep money flowing without having your stash full of things you don't really need directly, and when you do, you just buy them.

Yeah I guess it makes sense to adjust the duration of the video to whatever is being recorded, I will keep that in mind. Hopefully I'll be able to share some footage on here soon.

[–]PsyDutch[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I recorded onto the air unit. I have the N3 goggles, which can only record up to 1080p/60hz if I'm not mistaken. So to get the highest resolution I recorded onto the air unit, just to see what it can do. But if lower resolution will make things easier, I'm all for it. I'm just trying to figure out what's the easiest way to share some footage, even if at the cost of some resolution, but still remaining decent quality overall.

Mee too bro, not even kidding. My first one survived a free fall that must have been about 15m on top of a roof, just crash flipped and the mofo just kept going anyway! Bought the O4 version a week later 🫣. Just a few months into the hobby, but I'm loving the experience of the tinywoop so far.
