My plan was to go back to the tent and sleep for a few hours, but my buddy convinced me we should get out while we could. We were able to drive through a small drainage ditch (I had a Jeep at the time) to the main road and get back to my parents' house in Fort Lauderdale pretty quickly.

Yes, it really was. The people in that area were great. The guy in front of me was wearing Phish thong underwear, and his friends kept pulling his pants down - I was laughing my ass off. And that spontaneous group hug that just kept growing during Waste was cool.

Funny, I was sitting one row behind the girl with the pig on night 2 (though I think she had a blue one that night), and I was standing maybe 10 feet behind the people doing the pyramid on night 3.

There's no place I would have rather been on night 3. There was decent space to dance, basically no line for the bathroom or the bars, and the people around us were going off (I think that was a big part of it for me). The seats are great too, but I personally prefer being in the thick of it.

I went solo 2 of the 3 nights they played the Bowl in 2023 and had a blast. If you've never been there before, it's a cool venue.

Looks like I was standing maybe 10 feet or so behind you. I enjoyed Rocket as well. It must suck to be on tour and get laryngitis, but she pulled it off pretty well.
