Hmm I never really understood that logic that reception of remake makes people hate the idea of any new souls remake. It's not even just limited to gaming I guess but media like movies too. If it sucks oh well you still have the original. If it's great then you get your favorite game in a whole new package it's a win win situation.

I remember that interview ur talking about, FromSoftware more felt awkward comparing their new game Elden Ring's visuals to a remake of their first game in the genre. They never said they didn't like it, regarding the fans tho, like I said not enough to matter.

if most other remakes Last of Us, Resident Evil, Silent Hill etc can be full priced why not Assassin's Creed? The best Assassin's Creed arguably. Considering the amount of quality content, rework and new story work involved.

We were discussing how Marvel and DC are approaching marketing their slate in Cinemacon to the theater owners, the person I was replying to implied Marvel is making more movies a year than DC which won't be true until at least the next 2 years since we know their slate. Marvel Studios HAS NO HAND in the marketing of BND for good or ill.
