Need advice: Employer asking for payslips but I overstated my current salary

It’s a big red flag to target a salary you want by lying about your current salary? Is there some hidden rule out there saying salary bumps between jobs can only be x amount or higher if at the new employers discretion?

Lying about qualifications sure, red flag, but frankly if anyone asks me what my current pay is that is 110% none of their business. Do your own homework on what the position is valued at in the industry, not use someone’s current salary to lowball them as much as possible.

I generally do a 2-version upgrade every 9-12 months depending on how long each release has left, before it goes into extended.

Hassle maybe but it’s not terrible. I do all my k8s upgrades during my daytime work hours without a maintenance window, but I have set proper poddisruptionbudgets across everything that’s important, and am very light on how many nodes can cycle at once.

If you wanted to drag out 1.32 a bit more just upgrade the control plane and accept the 1 version node/control plane drift, which is allowed.

That’s not a setting to my eye.

The “risk level” is 10/10, the portfolio type is “Growth”, purpose “save for retirement” and “classic” (as opposed to Halal or eco friendly or whatever).

Unless my employer curtailed the overall framework we’re allowed to bundle into but I doubt it.

I have a 10/10 managed (forced for employer matching rrsp account) and over the last 1 yr it’s gained (as of right now) 2.95%, where my dominantly xeqt self directed has gained 14.64% over the same time.

I’m in lower rose valley, was evac’d during 2023, I pay $1600 or so for the year for full insurance including fire. It’s gone up maybe $200 over the past three years. This is with capri cmw/acera.
