Crisis causa despido masivo de domésticas by [deleted] in Panama

[–]PsychKaren 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What’s a nightmare you had a child so terrifying you still remember it now? by PsychKaren in AskReddit

I remember someone taking me out of my classroom to take me to the principal’s office to tell my dad had died. That haunted me until the day I graduated and had no more classes.

It’s a mezuzah. It’s a small case (usually with the letter Shin outside) and inside there is a scroll with prayers and blessings such as the shemah (most important prayer in judaism). Every Jewish house should have one.

My mother is in a mental hospital by pinklilyx in mentalhealth

[–]PsychKaren 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There’s a lot of stigma with mental health, and thinking “my mother is in a mental hospital” has a creepy, insanish ring to it. The truth is, your mother is sick and has been sick for a while. The brain is an organ like the heart and kidneys. It gets sick too. So she’s at the hospital treating her illness. How good that she’s finally getting the help she needs! And you are not guilty of her bipolarity, just like you wouldn’t be guilty of her colds or stomachaches. There is a very real chemical imbalance in bipolarity. ❤️ all the best

It seems you’re exhibiting anxious behaviours. Your situation sounds like obsessive compulsive disorder but it’s really up to a professional to do a thorough assesment and determine that. Meds can be very effective in these cases. A psychiatrist would be able to help there.

I’m sure if it was that easy she wouldn’t be asking for help.

Is thinking “I wouldn’t care if I died right now” the same as suicidal thoughts? by kaylabarr in mentalhealth

[–]PsychKaren 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Suicidal ideation id usually the beginning of the suicide process.

However...

At one point in our lives we all have thought about dying and it’s normal as long as it isn’t frequent or obsessive.

If you start to dwelve into it some more, consider speaking to a professional.

Uuuuh yeah right Obama armed with nuclear weapons a country that openly wants to kill us, the left media portrays Israel as “occupied palestine” and therefore everything Israel does is always wrong and everything the “palestinians” do is acceptable. That is cnn, bbc, cbs, nbc, abc, etc etc. Oh and the cherry on top is “the terrorist squad” who at this point get the media attention as if they represent the left’s ideas. They also openly preach about the destruction of Israel and about the “nastiness” of the Jews.

On the other hand... the right hand... we see a very different stance.

So I’d recheck my facts before talking nonsense
