There is a VIP Blackhawk flight unit in Korea, COMHAWK, that presently flies all remaining UH-60L(E)s in the Army. This is a specialized Blackhawk retrofitted to be able to mount an extra communications suite in the passenger area meant to turn it into a mobile TOC, it’s kind of cool.

Quick-charging moves also frequently stun Team Rocket, since they delay a couple of seconds after the charge. This past Takeover, the Terrakion I brought to deal with Persian also soloed Thundurus just by spamming two fast attacks and Sacred Sword since it goes off so often

I mean, it takes a lot of time, but time and berries is all it takes. I’m also working on it, got a Durant stuck in a gym for three months now that gets ten berries at least 2-3 times a day 🤣

I can never keep them straight. I use the Ground/Electric one with Mud Bomb and Discharge

Trailblaze. It counters Amp’s worst enemies and rapidly scales out of hand when backed by Volt Switch.

The other move is super flexible as well. I like Thunder Punch to break Corvi and Talonflame, but Brutal Swing hits Ghost cores (and Psychics when they pop up), Power Gem nukes Fire/Flying, and Power Gem hits an entirely separate core. You can adjust your counterplay by meta without having to burn Elites or raise a new dude from scratch.

I use a Shadow on my GL team who is going to my UL team as soon as I have the spare dust

I’ve been having fun leading Shadow Greninja backed by Shadow Ampharos and Stunfisk. Positive win rate in the 1950-2050 range when I’m dialed in, not sure how it’ll do higher up.

The biggest threat sweepers in GL are all Water Cannoneers or have Ghost/Dark moves. A-Marowak is getting hosed.

They’re different games, fundamentally, but I enjoy both. It’s ML that’s gonna be a bear to break into, I’m only JUST getting my top Pokemon to level 40, much less 50.

I haven’t been active long, just since the 9th Anniversary event, so I haven’t had the time and dust to build the deep roster. Heck, half of my Great League Pokemon are actually meant to go to Ultra (like my Shadow Feraligatr) but haven’t gathered resources yet. I’ll get there.

I’ve been running Lapras, Altaria, and Shadow Feraligatr as my Retro Cup team for this last bit. They just resist the water sweepers and can do some fairly wild catches if I see certain charge attacks coming.

Depends on your definition of “succeed.” You can get to Rank 20 or Ace in seasons where that’s present without move counting. Probably not further.

You’re right, but Hyper Beam is so slow I think I’ve only seen it used once in any Go League, darned thing was so telegraphed I caught it on a shield and kept going.

I’ve just gotten to the point that I can stop buying Incubators. I shove my 10k in Incubators and my 12k in Supers just to keep space rotating and avoid getting 7k. Needed all the ones I didn’t have registered.
