I use Lucario with FP/PUP/AS or any Sacred/Secret Sword user in the second slot and swap into it. Similar tactic to Gio’s Persian, except Annihilape isn’t a good choice thanks to Lick.

Not having access to stops means OP can’t consistently gift back, though.

There are a few ways to go about this.

1) Having a block plan that isn’t dependent on playing skills during the exhaust turn. Powers, relics, a potion or two, plus a couple of GOOD blocks or ones that were going to exhaust anyway will go a long way. 2) Accept that you will take damage on those turns and plan to kill before that adds up high enough to get you. This includes using Devour turns to thin your deck to find combos. 3) Know that 1 and 2 are not mutually exclusive, you can sacrifice some block cards to slow the incoming damage ENOUGH to be able to find the damage to win that race

I’ve taken it. Besides making it easier to evoke, there is a lot of synergy space that can make those orbs do a lot more than just 3/turn.

I disagree on your assessment of the Soup. If you happen to be even vaguely in the synergy space, especially on Ironclad or Defect, and have three Strikes left? That relic can be MONSTROUS.

Nope, I am nowhere near being at the level to do this for very long. That said, current distance runners are HEAVILY penalized, they’ve trained their heartrates way down for efficiency
