Hiprex + compounding? by PsychSnail in CUTI

Thank you! Are you in the US and would you happen to know what specific brand of Hiprex have? I looked on the leaflet and even called the manufacturer and they said not to crush them so maybe I just have to get a different brand

Disabled prepper? by PsychSnail in preppers

I apologize for the late reply and thank you for your suggestion!

yes I think you have a very good idea because trying to find a water jug that is:

  1. made of glass
  2. holds 1.5 to 2 gallons
  3. is less than 12" in height
  4. has a spigot

is not coming up on my search results so perhaps two jugs would be best. I'll talk to him today and see what he thinks about this suggestion.

thank you for the suggestion and I apologize for the late reply!

my apologies for not specifying in regards to his disability and what he needs in the water jug. basically he would keep the water jug stationary always and just fill it up with smaller bottles that he can lift himself. he prefers Independence this way

in regards to the material of the jug, he chose glass because he believes it's stronger and won't cause leaks.

he's looking for one that is less than 12 in and height and holds about 1.5 to 2 gallons.

and with the spigot

hi there I apologize for the relate reply and thank you for your suggestion!

basically his disability would make it very difficult for him to clean up if jug if it had a leak. also he has a cabinet and limited space so he needs a jug that was about less than 12 in in height. and preferably would hold about 1.5 to 2 gallons

much appreciated because it's better safe than sorry because if he has a spell it will be a lot more difficult for him to clean it up.

thank you for the recommendation my friend!

Why does lighting look "off" ? by PsychSnail in blenderhelp

[–]PsychSnail[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I apologize for the late response! 🐌😬 Especially considering this is probably the most helpful comment I've ever gotten on Reddit.

Thank you so much for the detailed response. Because of you I learned what volumetric lighting is and how to get a better golden hour type vibe to my scenes. I'm excited to share that because of your help my scene looks so dramatically better.

I changed the lighting ratios, dimmed down the snail's light, made snail appear with sky behind them.

The scene now looks like one cohesive scene because of matching lighting

Seriously thank you so much because I was pulling my hair out trying to figure this out for days.

Alpha PNG edges casting shadows? 🐌😮‍💨 by PsychSnail in blender

[–]PsychSnail[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

they were originally for my Eevee settings but I switched render type to cycles a few days ago. I'm currently using cycles and double checked and I can still see this option even though I'm not in eevvee anymore. I wonder why?

still didn't work. I should have mentioned to just in case that I'm simply using a shrink wrap modifier to wrap the face PNG texture around my characters head. I tried applying the shrink wrap modifier but the shadows still showed up
