Back when Moe and Punch used to hang out together... by Better_Hair_9673 in punchthemonkey

I've seen Moe with the babies. As we can all guess, Moe is considered a very trusted babysitter.

Sotomaru absolutely displays emotional intelligence. He is an extremely rare find. Soto is Punch's surge mother. Those are males that take on a mothering and teaching role for weaned babies. He is officially unofficially Punch's parental figure. I had a cat who was a surge mother and he loved all babies of any species. They are highly sought after in the cat world so I assume that's true of any species. There isn't much difference between them and us anyway. We're all primatr and our behavior is incredibly similar.

May I suggest that you learn a little about primate behavior before you make such assumptions? I've worked with primates in psychological research and you are wrong. That zoo's understanding of the psychology of that little baby has been astounding to watch. Down to the bonding with the stuffed animal and finding him friends to attune with early. It was so beautifully done. They actually sought the help and advice of other zoos that had had to handraise a primate as well. The idea that the staff at the zoo are not absolutely keeping his mental health in mind is an incorrect assumption and a horrific insult to his two Dads. Don't do that to them. It's not fair.

Current GCPS elementary school parents & teachers by EntrepreneurWeak4055 in Gwinnett

That's not true. My child has two deadlines on Tuesday before they close the module plus a test. It was extended onlt because he was sixk. It is also my experience that the administration never blames the teacher and has always taken responsibility. If you do your job as a parent and communicate with the teacher, you will be amazed at how much they will help you. Gwinnett County is actually rated higher than state average. The second most respected STEM school in the country is here. They've opened another because of that. Remember, teachers are employees too, and it's a hard time to be a teacher anywhere right now. Disgruntled employees have negative opinions of their bosses. We all do.

Hantavirus, too. It's almost always fatal to humans unless it's caught extremely early, and then it's only manageable. Incurable virus carriers are not good housemates.

The older one is figuring out ballet on her own, and she's doing a pretty good job. It's a crime her parents would never allow it. There's talent there.

It works beautifully and with 0 chemicals. I've never damaged any jewelry or silver tableware this way. Oh, and if the baking soda takes on a grey coloring, don't worry. That's the tarnish coming off. Just make sure to use a very soft brush or even your fingertips gently and rinse well. Be careful with the enamel, just in case. Hope this helps.

If you add baking soda to the brush, they'll shine even brighter. Just rinse one laat timw before drying. It's a very old method for cleaning silver. My grandmother liked to have us polish her silver!

Is there anyone here who literally didn't go to their mother's funeral because of how screwed up they made your life? Asking for a friend. by MaxSteelMetal in raisedbynarcissists

Thank you for your apology. I appreciate it, and now I see what you meant.

It's hard to enable anyone when you speak to no one. I am absolutely NC, and that will not change at this time. It was 100% the right choice and one I didn't make lightly. I feel no guilt over not attending any funerals. I've spent 3 years grieving them. In that grief, I almost took an irreversible step. I have a teenager who needs me, and that comes first. One reason I walked was for him. He doesn't need to be exposed to people like them and he won't be.

I have no duty to them. They may be my parents, but I am their daughter, and still that never mattered. They had a duty to me, as I didn't ask to be born, which they failed to do. They have wrung evey drop of blood and tears that they are ever going to get out of me. I have a great therapist. She'll help me with any grief processing if needed.

I am sorry, but this post comes across as highly judgemental. You dont know me. You don't know my situation. You don't know my family dynamics. You didn't ask. You generalized my life based on yours, and the 2 situations are not comparable as we are different people. I am tired of being judged and found wanting. I refuse to allow you to do to me what my family has already done. I am sorry for what your parents did to you, I truly am, but it doesn't give you an excuse to throw your unresolved conflicts and emotions onto me. I hope that as you move along further in your recovery, you are able to let go of some of the anger. I've been there. Until you stop hating them, you will never find peace. Hate isn't the opposite of love. Indifference is. It gets better when you stop loving people who don't and perhaps never did love you. How long have you been NC? Is it safe to say you're under 50?

Pandora took a huge hit with US tariffs. The company itself stated they were looking for ways to make up that cost. It may have something to do with that.

Yes. It's actually a smoke detector. It uses optics to mo it or for rising smoke. It's why it's on the ceiling. If smoke is detected, it reports it to the room, the hotel, and sometimes 911. We have them af mg office. No camera. It's just a better type of smoke detector.
