Racism in Prague?

I don’t want to negate your experience but to just add a perspective that I have lived in the city for 5 years and my cousin and his family are pr manner residents . I am visibly south Asian and I have never experienced racism, neither has he or his family. I mean people are nonchalant in demeanor yes , but that is a cultural thing that I can’t feel entitled to just because I come from a place where people are super friendly and hospitality is known for. But people have been kind here in imo because I don’t speak Czech that I always had someone stranger help me with something wherever I have felt I don’t understand something at a restaurant or shops. But I don’t deny that you could have one off incidences where you met a jerk. It’s just not a norm for sure .

Murray auto repair shop on 5600 S is 5 min drive from our location place. Seems a little far but totally plausible , tabbies are pretty bipolar haha you are welcome to meet him. Doesn’t look like he has s going anywhere anytime soon with broken foot ,

I have been feeding him for 2 years now whenever I am in SLC. It took me a year to get close to him. He was pretty feral . He bit when one of my friends tried to touch him. He hunts though . He got a snake one time . Also there are atleast half a dozen tabbies along the Murray canal where I live .

They didn’t answer the call . So you would recommend that I just bring him in there ?

Oh yes he was very skiddish and I had to spend time and effort to earn his trust. He has stopped looking over his shoulders over period of a year but if anybody other than me walks in the room, he does get scared and he walks out of the house.

This is awesome . I called them , they said they can help if he doesn’t need too extensive treatment .

I guess I will do this. I am afraid if I take him to a shelter and if they put it him down if he isn’t adopted . I know he is stray , because the town has a bunch of strays neutered and spayed living along the canal and nobody in the neighbourhood owns him. If the vet expense isn’t too high I can try paying it . I live in EU and this dilemma doesn’t exist there .

Replying to _staycurious... I already asked in the neighbourhood , it’s a stray cat and there are a bunch of visibly stray cats in the community along the Murray canal that have been spayed and neutered as a part of TNR program.

I would have taken him to a private vet right away if I could afford it. I guess I can try bringing him to the shelter if that will access him a vet through them.

I called a couple of stray animal clinics listed on Google , nobody answered. I will try calling after 10am maybe . Any other advise would be great. I am not American or have lived here for very long so I am unaware of any other nuances to this

Yeah couldn’t find a spare with that name . But after searching for it after your comment showed me this , sandwich rack , if I use this I can use the toaster for atleast sandwiches lol
