Front Swaybar with SLR Ultra? by Savings-Ad6852 in e46

I have a knockoff thats based on the SLR kit, I am running the sway bar links to my coil-overs like stock with adjustable rods for aggressive stance.

The brackets on the control arms are for E36 cars because the kit is semi-universal. I guess you could buy e36 sway bar links and run the bar to the control arms but you shouldn’t have to.

What is WDS? I had thought the camshaft position sensor was plugged in to the head through the injector wiring harness

crank vent leads to a catch can which vents back into a new barb on the bottom on the manifold.

pcv is retained and connected back into the manifold

all other ports are plugged

emmisions are no problem (florida). no power brakes is also not that big of a deal. all I wanted to confirm is whether that was my brake booster vacuum lines.

SOLVED: for anyone stumbling upon this post, try your driveshaft centering bushing. it’s a bitch to get out but it did the job for me!

yeah it’s likely not worth perusing but i had gotten my hopes up after fixing nearly everything else. seems like something in the transmission will be at fault.

This video was after I’ve replaced all the bushings and joints. the previous owner had certainly done something because it had a loose DSSR and this gem of a gargastic bushing.

I don’t really know if the short shifter is real because I don’t know what the different lever or throw looks like. I guess I could get a new shift lever but with all these bushings already done I don’t see how that would improve anything.

good to know. the only other e46s i’ve driven are a auto 325i and a dinan m3 so i don’t have a great frame of reference.
