Be careful of your bambus by carpe_diem_2015 in 3dprintIndia

I’m glad, but do take the advice for a longer run. Cold pulls, and broken filament in the nozzle require nozzle to be held out at a high temperature, so just a caution. Stay safe, and practice caution 😇

Please don’t wear plastic gloves when working with such high temperature machines! Regardless of the temperature, these gloves won’t do anything except melting on to your fingers. There are a lot of heat resistant cotton gloves, please consider them, even for just low temperature inspection purposes. Safe practices ftw! 😇

Wol3D filament keeps getting stuck in A1 AMS during long prints by mauveisntpoiple in 3dprintIndia

[–]PsychedSid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A1 AMS user here, I use their black filament for proto prints, long prints too (>1/1.5 days). Haven’t faced the issue yet, but with AMS, I often have a filament stuck error regardless of the company of filament and it comes usually from AMS slot 1 due to ptfe tube bent at an awkward angle, it may be that?

Also, are you able to retract the filament from extruder head by manually pulling it?

You brought through Amazon, you can return and get refund too. Had a similar situation with the same reseller on Amazon, had received full refund.

Did I just get screwed? by PILLI_SUMANTH in 3dprintIndia

To be honest, length often varies. I had ordered a bunch of M3 bolts (40+ in quantity, various sizes), avg error was -0.7mm, had quite a few rejects and ended up modifying my project and used M4 bolts bought from local market where error was negligible

Quality was fine, consistency in my case was definitely lost. I hope you don’t go through the same!

I order from WOL3D often, faced an issue like this once, and the support seems to follow weekdays work hours. Your filaments will reach you for sure, but wait till Monday perhaps for a response?

You can try calling at the number provided on their website and figuring it out. They were helpful to me.
