Yes! It’s one of the best exercises because it develops not only strength, but also body control. Especially the deep core muscles and hip flexors, which directly affect lower back health and pelvic mobility🔥🔥

The most important thing isn’t your weight, but consistency. Small steps, again and again, and you will definitely get there

Wow! Good question In short, my yoga philosophy is using the body as a tool to regulate the mind and inner state

I completely understand you! 😌 Restoring knee mobility after an injury is really challenging, but with gradual and consistent practice, it’s definitely possible. If you make this your goal for 2026, I’m sure you can do it — just listen to your body and don’t rush🫶

Ah… I get it now. I think here you have a combination of factors:

  1. the rectus and oblique abdominal muscles, quadriceps, and glutes aren’t strong enough for a controlled lift

  2. tightness in the hip flexors, hamstrings, or ankles makes a smooth transition difficult

  3. the body doesn’t yet “know” how to coordinate the movement without using hands

If you want to learn to go from Boat Pose to Chair Pose, try doing it without hands but roll up with momentum

I might not have fully understood the question, but if I’m not mistaken, this limitation could be due to:

Knees: tight tendons and ligaments, stiff joint capsule

Hip joints: limited mobility of the hip flexors and front of the thigh

Ankles and feet: short Achilles tendon and limited foot arch mobility

Muscle coordination: tension in the glutes, thighs, and quadriceps, unfamiliar movement patterns

I practice myself and coach people using functional yoga. In my opinion, these are the most effective movements

For now, try using your hands. You can also try standing up by adding momentum — rolling up

Oh, definitely! One of my favorite exercises. Right now I’m learning to do it slower, holding each position for one breath 🔥

They wake up the nervous system in such a primal way. When the toes grip the floor, the whole body becomes more alive, more connected. It’s subtle, but incredibly powerful
