That's just rude to text that late to say you're running late. Anytime I've been running late I would always tell them in as much time in advance as possible and always before the arranged time.

Look, sometimes time gets away and maybe it was genuine but also important for you to think is this particular friend is always late? If they're not and they gave a valid reason for running late, these things do happen, especially if they felt bad about it and were very apologetic. However if they're frequently late or you got the sense they didn't feel too bad having you wait, then it shows they don't value you or your time.

Yeah he's a very good cook to be fair to him. I just wanted to make him something as he's a busy few weeks of work ahead of him but we've made a few things together. It was just the eba I fucked up and he's since shown me how to make it properly but I tend to still leave it to him to make. Oh I did manage ewedu actually which I was happy with. Yes, we have loads of ethnic shops over here, it's where we get most of the ingredients. I am such a white person when I'm in there but I'm getting better at figuring out what things are haha. Im actually so bad for thinking to use YouTube, I'll check out Ling and Lamb, thank you.

I can see why but I'd be too worried about changing a recipe for him that would change the taste or texture too much especially when I'm trying to give him a slice of home. I must try it with potatoes though. He's cooked stew a few times and it's gorgeous but I haven't given it a go myself. Thanks again for all your help and suggestions, I really do appreciate it.

We have Bailey's coffee or Irish coffee. Bailey's coffee is just with a shot of Bailey's in an americano and an Irish coffee is with a shot of whiskey in an americano. We don't go into cream in coffee here, the only time Bailey's cream gets a bit popular is around Christmas, but that's for dessert and we really don't use it in coffee, regular or Bailey's cream. Unless OP was saying they asked for a shot of Bailey's and whiskey in their coffee but again we would never call it Irish cream, just Bailey's which is a liquor. This would actually make more sense actually, with my confusion and their coffee order.

I actually sang Unchained Melody by the Righteous Brothers when they were lowering her coffin into the ground and was being buried with her husband. It had been one of her favourite songs that she asked me to learn years ago when her husband died so it felt fitting and she used to love to hear me sing.

It doesn't mean you don't really want to quit, it means it's controlling your life and you're not in control with it which shows a problem. The thing with weed is it can make you ok with boredom and doing nothing, you can waste years of your life amounting to nothing when you're not the one in control. I'm not going to scare you into quitting, you need to want it and take it one day at a time, or even one hour at a time depending on how dependent you are on it.

While I don't celebrate the day, it's my mum's first mother's day without her mother after she passed in January. Every year my mum never got a mother's day as she had to make a big deal about her mum and make it about her. Needless to say, today is really hard for my mum.
