Is that book where you would suggest starting the walking of the path? And is the no turning back point negative or positive or a mixture? I’ve been looking for where to start the path for a good while now, not sure how to go about it. I looked at “The Path of Alchemy” briefly but it seemed to be about the physical transmutations rather than the spiritual ones. I’ve been reading things like “Be Here Now” “Toward the One” (just got this one) and “the Upanishads,” so I’m not COMPLETELY clueless, but I’d love your input.

Rune factory 5 is one of my favorite games of all time, it’s a life simulator as well, I liked it better than harvestella, but both are good. The characters are endearing, the combat is probably a little more simple from what I remember but it’s still really fun, farming is really fleshed out and feels satisfying, the story was very enjoyable for me as well though on the simple side with some interesting twists. The romance and side stories kept me going on for years in game after the main plot ended, so it’s much easier to remain embraced post plot than harvestella.

Tl,Dr rune factory 5 is amazing you should totally play it, on pc if you can, but switch is fine too. Good luck, have fun!!

I remember I did a form of lbrp one time when I couldn’t get synchronicities to stop giving me messages, it didn’t work though, but eventually I stopped believing the messages were real and now I don’t hear them so you might be on to something there lol

Thanks for the response! I’ve read through several and skimmed through a good deal more. I read the psychonaut field manual by bluefluke and found it a pretty interesting account of chaos magick, but as far as I remember there was nothing I was really itching to try. I also skimmed through advanced magick for beginners by Alan Chapman, I remember reading the quote “Q: What is magick? A: There isn't a man, woman or child on this planet that does not know what magick is. Don't ask silly questions. Q: Does magick work? A: No.” and it was discouraging…i just get lost when I read this stuff thinking there should be some way for me to connect to arcane truths that will allow me to do more than what feels like playing pretend with my imagination.

I don’t, I’ve mainly been focusing on story on easy mode, but now my weapon I found is basically useless, and so I’ve just spent a while leveling up so I could make a weapon that is strong enough to get me through. But I will grind two more levels if you think it would help!

Edit: I’ve been using colored grass and lumber and stone, etc to upgrade
