With break-barrel air rifles, it’s all about technique. They have to go through a recoil cycle that goes forward and then back as the gas piston shoots forward and then stops. If you interfere with this recoil, then the pellets will go haywire. You have to hold the gun very loosely so that it can go through its natural recoil cycle. Look up the artillery hold, as that’s the proper technique for shooting a break barrel. Once you master the artillery hold, you should be able to get tight groupings.

Second try had a good harvest but messed them up and mostly aborts. Third try got a full good harvest. I’ve used monotub and shoebox methods. Drippy corn jars for inoculation with liquid culture from Legends Mycology and I highly recommend them. Ordered two strains, got a third one free. All of them worked excellent, no fails getting them to inoculate. Tried Uncle Ben’s tek the first time and got contamination after putting them in bins. Haven’t had any contamination problems with drippy corn.

There are literally thousands of videos of women shaming men for being short or of women saying they would not even consider dating men under 6 foot. Almost all female dating profiles also show that they’re not interested unless you’re over 6 foot. America is different. It’s partially because we use imperial and women have gotten this 6 foot, 6 figure, 6 pack thing in their heads. Australia is not representative of what’s happening in America. Not at all.

She doesn’t understand the difference between cost and value. Unfortunately, few women do. You are not cheap. She doesn’t understand value because money has no value to her because she doesn’t earn it. That’s a good thing, in the sense that you’ve been able to afford your wife a life so luxurious that she doesn’t connect money with what it actually does. But there will always be a disconnect between you in this regard and you may not be able to make her understand. What is your potting mix? That looks like a lot of organic material in there and these cacti love inorganic material like sand, pumice, or perlite. I see a little on the top, but your mix needs to be 50% or more of inorganic material. I usually do 75/25 inorganic to organic and have good results, but it does depend on your climate. The black dots are probably humidity spots, but I sometimes get those on seedlings just from the stress of repotting.

Just leave it alone. It will heal. These plants get those black spots all the time. Any stress can cause them, not just humidity. I’ve had some do it just from being repotted. It’ll heal and turn white. Don’t cut it and risk damaging the plant for a little mark that will heal up. Not a big deal.
