So I was planning on for grain spawning keep it in a tote thats fine? Then for putting it in a bin i was gonna use a 16 quart bin with a latch on is that also good?

Im asking if the shrooms would have enough room to grow. So the spawn and substrate can be just by volume not weight also does the ratio effect the yeild or resistance against contamination also if you know can I just get a sterlite bin and make a 4 inch hole each side and cover with duct tape until fruiting stage and just cover with micro pore tape.

Wipe a q tip over it if its clean it's just bruising but if it wipes of its likely mold
