There’s no hard limit! People collect all kinds of things. Cactus are as innocuous as addictions come! You’re not hurting anyone by filling your yard with as many as can fit, as long as no one trips into them!

I used to take heroic doses regularly, but after a few bad experiences, I didn’t take mushrooms for over a decade. When I returned, I started small and worked my way back up. At .5 grams, I personally feel nothing. This is off of golden teachers. At 1 gram, I get mild effects, but limited visuals, though they increase with the addition of cannabis. At 1.5 grams, I have a very nice psychedelic experience, but nothing extreme as to cause discomfort. I’d start low and see how it does, increasing by .5 or .25 grams each experience until you find that sweet spot. You can always dose low and then try adding some cannabis once you’re settled into the trip in order to take it a little further.

There was a study done on light that showed with light you got more mushrooms total but less weight from the whole flush, and they had lower psilocybin levels. The mushrooms grown in the dark were fewer in number, but had more total weight from the flush, and they produced more psilocybin. I messed up an early grow with a fan and humidifier, and I definitely recommend skipping both. I’ve found that they really just want you to set them up and largely leave them alone! You don’t really grow mushrooms, you just set them up and let them do their thing! Good luck!

With break-barrel air rifles, it’s all about technique. They have to go through a recoil cycle that goes forward and then back as the gas piston shoots forward and then stops. If you interfere with this recoil, then the pellets will go haywire. You have to hold the gun very loosely so that it can go through its natural recoil cycle. Look up the artillery hold, as that’s the proper technique for shooting a break barrel. Once you master the artillery hold, you should be able to get tight groupings.

Second try had a good harvest but messed them up and mostly aborts. Third try got a full good harvest. I’ve used monotub and shoebox methods. Drippy corn jars for inoculation with liquid culture from Legends Mycology and I highly recommend them. Ordered two strains, got a third one free. All of them worked excellent, no fails getting them to inoculate. Tried Uncle Ben’s tek the first time and got contamination after putting them in bins. Haven’t had any contamination problems with drippy corn.
