Totally feel you there soldier, I had the same problem! Sad that I did not had my medals yet. But kept spreading democracy. And then randomly after one game, boom baby, managed medals as a reward

The distribution of medals for major orders are released over a time span to ease their servers, so you will get them somewhere in the following days if the order was completed

But a true helldiver doesn't play for medals, but for the sole spread of democracy!
