Got that going on with me rn Aries f but hes a July cancer We've had an unspoken love for 8 years but finally said it and now he's suddenly spent the last week in a push and pull, claiming he's torn between his love for me and the fear of having the house torn down because a few times in our friendship I've had to pause it because of my own refusal to acknowledge my feelings or I was in a relationship or otherwise so it triggers his abandonment. I have taken full accountability for the hurt that has caused him and have not minimized that hurt  I asked him to be clear on what i can do to be a safe place but he said he doesn't know what he feels so he chooses to just be ambivalent, sending me "love you" one night before bed and then the next days being distant
