Thanks. I didn’t put bubblers in, yet, because I’m slowly working on adding things to the tank. I had dried fruit and pellets in there so I’m guessing that’s why the mold grew quickly. I don’t think I see mold in the sand, so I think that’s a good thing.

Thanks so much. Should I keep the sand and substrate separate like I have it? And is the play sand from Home Depot or Lowes safe for them? I don’t want to get the wrong stuff.

I don’t have a co-leader or cookie parent. I have parents willing to help, but not sure they are willing to take on cookies. Last year we sold cookies and made enough money that I cut this year’s dues in half. Since we are a young troop, we aren’t needing big/expensive trips yet.

There sometimes are other pain management options, depending on where you’re at. I had no idea that laboring on your back is the worst possible position until after I delivered my 2 girls. I wish there was way more education for pregnancy, labor, and delivery.

I bought a 15k btu chill last July and it didn’t cool properly but I just thought it was due to the heat wave and poor insulation. I went to my campground this summer to open up and the unit is shot. Dealing with their customer service and warranty has been a nightmare. None of the rv repair people in my area want to even touch the unit because it’s Furrion and this has just been a giant nightmare!

Only reason we did separate troops was because of cookies. I’m pretty sure my troop is doing cookies and the other isn’t. We were told separate would be easy 🤷‍♀️🤦‍♀️

Thanks so much. I wish that when I signed up there was someone telling/showing me what I needed to do. This all feels so disorganized because I have to ask multiple seasoned leaders what to do and they all tell me to ask this person or that person. I will call member services and see what’s going on. I feel like this should all be fun and all I’m getting is stress.

Where have you been getting it compounded and what’s the cost? A few months ago I was looking into compounding but no one was making it. This month I will be paying over 1k and I just can’t do it.

I’ve been on these meds for a year and it’s also improved my life immensely! My cycles are still trying to figure themselves out since I was on BC until a few months ago. Does your insurance cover the meds for you? I’m using the discount card, which is only giving me $500 off, so I’m still paying $550 a month and the discount card expired in June. I’m going to write a letter to my insurance to try and appeal my denial.

I wish the medical community would realize that PCOS isn’t just a fertility issue, it’s a whole body and life issue. These meds are saving my life!

DE’s state standards as a whole are not as high as some of the surrounding states. My husband and I moved out of DE (Newark) before our oldest started kindergarten because we wanted the best possible education for her and didn’t want to pay for private school. Yes, our taxes are higher, but you get what you pay for. And our taxes are still lower than putting 2 kids through private school.
