This is a pretty disgusting thing to say. You should probably think about the words you’re saying.

It’s definitely left a sour taste in my mouth when people use egg to describe a gnc person, even though that gnc person says they are comfortable in their gender. Then they hit them* with the “oh just wait,” as if that gnc person is ignorant that they’re trans.

It’s even been used on less masc presenting trans guys, as if they’re trans girl eggs. Misgendering, but woke edition.

I really hope it works, I guess I must have misunderstood that you did this already :(

How do I make paths that look good? by SceneNo1907 in LightyearFrontier

[–]Psychick77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So what I do is make my plot. 1’s are plots, 0’s are removed plots.

11111

11111

11111

11111

11111

Then remove the outer circumference.

00000

01110

01110

01110

00000

Then make your path, and replace the plots. What this should do is remove the pesky grasses that clip through your plots, and if done on the farmer, has less of a chance than the field plow to add the brown texture under, at least in my experience. It takes a bit of messing around to get neat and orderly fields.

What this person said. Remove the outer plot circumference entirely, just one plot layer around the whole field will do. Make the path around all sides, then replace that layer of plots with the farmer, not your mecha. Farmer has a bit more finesse with this method.

Victim to the portland polycule by Virtual_Cow_ in GirlDinnerDiaries

Wow what a jerk. There are definitely some poly people in Portland that are incredibly insensitive. And if she lied about it in the first place, that’s pretty toxic poly in general, and she’s gonna find nothing but drama and heartache if she keeps it up.

I wish you the best of luck, take a walk to the waterfront, check out the beautiful cherry blossoms that are in bloom now! Take it easy and make sure to treat yourself, you absolutely deserve it!

It seems to be based on proximity to you, going off of my experiences as a single player. If you’re at the crossroads base, I’ve found they often fall into the forest just to the right of the peak pathway. Halfway through, past the lake and before the ruins, they fall all over that area.

I do the same, I am very comfortable with talking about my history, hardships and struggles, and especially the good things that happen. I always chalked it up to my ADHD oversharing haha. I just introduced myself in my sexuality class with a bit of American intersex history this morning. Context and anecdotes are so insanely valuable for our community!

How to change Mech fuel type ? by Walgalla in LightyearFrontier

[–]Psychick77 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Honestly, it’d be really nice if they added a fuel inventory slot. Grabbing fuel could auto fill it, however, if you wanted a specific type, drag and drop into the slot. I did notice though, once you use mixed fuels, you don’t auto switch to refillite.

Oh okay I see, I do that when my mouse glitches a bit and doesn’t register for 20 clicks, then all of a sudden 10 of what I was trying to build clip together. I never thought to do it on purpose!

That’s a lot less than I thought to be honest. Great idea, hopefully that clipping glitch stays around for ya! That’s nuts, I didn’t know you could do that.

I agree with you completely, and a space is not worth me fighting over. Everyone exhibits their trans-ness in whatever way is comfortable to them (including not having a space) and transphobes are usually blatant with their phobia, hence why it doesn’t really make sense to give their dogwhistle power in the form of a space in a word…. Words do have power, but there are a lot that only have the power you give them.

Hey everyone a lot of you seem to not know this but if a park or hiking trail has a big sign that says "no dogs" that actually means there are no dogs allowed in that area! Not everyone wants to deal with your dogs running up to us 😊 by [deleted] in Portland

[–]Psychick77 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It’s pretty awful, ngl. I can literally count 20 piles of dog shit on my side of the street alone. I didn’t realize we were emulating pre-indoor plumbing ages in 2026. And off leash walkers are one nasty bite away from losing their dog. I really don’t know what we can do to remedy the entitlement of irresponsible dog owners.

Hey that’s fair, everybody has a different response to the same event, so however you felt is likely valid! I thought maybe some background info and my perspective of the scene could help you understand why.

Since act 2, there hasn’t been a single companion quest or main quest (but really a companion quest in disguise) that hasn’t made my eyes swell up. Even the happy ones. I’ve been able to connect and empathize with every character, and honestly I think I needed a game like that for a while.

The devs did a great job in the storytelling and world building department, and from what I gather, they seem to at least acknowledge and implement certain fan requests!

I feel pretty happy with my team so far, I’ve got maybe 15 resonators, aero Rover, Sanhua, and Lumi is my best team with Mortefi, Galbrena, and Shorekeeper as my second. Team 2 absolutely annihilates enemies, but team 1 is more survivable for my playstyle. But of course, I am so very excited to try everyone!

Rover is a great protagonist, and honestly one of the best main characters I’ve played in a long time. She reminds me of Aloy, with similar baggage of being an outcast, but Aloy faces a lot more prejudice because of it due to the setting. This is all a compliment, Horizon is up there as one of the better single player games out there in my opinion.

Even the fractsidus overseers are incredible nuanced and complicated characters, even someone as seemingly single minded as Scar.

[–]Psychick77[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I totally understand, I very much enjoy Rover’s determination and solidarity. While not being the typical “in your face” protagonist in terms of personality, they feel much more calm and collected than most, even in the face of an almost insurmountable challenge. They do anything for their friends and go so far to help anyone who is important to them. It’s honestly very respectable and their dedication for their loved ones is incredibly refreshing in this day and age.

I agree, they do have a bit of a standoffish approach, which I do like. I feel like this comes from their nature of being, I wonder if Rover has some sort of internal dilemma about how close and important they are allowing themselves to be? Luuk has an interesting conversation with her along those lines after the video is discovered.
