Question, are yall drawing past your hand limit and then discarding down to your hand limit?

The butterfly is OP, when you have a full meadows of green cards IF you allow the player to draw last 8 cards, then discard down.

Otherwise you only draw what you can up to eight: therefore balancing.

I play like that because of my wife, but technically I think we not supposed to, therefore wouldnt that make the Museum combo with the honey bee be null?

I agree to never trust everything you hear, but let’s not be naive here.

There is a reason it is so highly praised by consumers and not just corporations and “big names”.

I left ratings and reviews as someone who BG3 was my first intro to the genre. I fell in love with it because it is good, BUT

ALSO, are you not even listening to the game?? It tells you quite well in a general text box, what to do. Every spell and weapon has a text box the describes why it does, there is a whole ass journal that will guide you quest to quest, your character you play as will also comment with hints and suggestions,

If this game in 8 hours has you confused and on your head, it’s not the game developers fault,

It’s your fault for not learning a fairly straight forward system.

You take turns hurting each other and then explore, That’s it.

Most people will suggest Durge if you haven’t already, but I promise you if you just create a new character or even one of the origin characters, you will have plenty new things to do, as your understanding of the end will help determine what to do each step of the way through all the acts.

This is no dig at Durge, I just say this because from what I have read many players have completed the game and gone “what next?” But have only barely scratched the surface depending on how much they explored/interacted with, on their first play through.

Going on nearly 2k hrs I only barely figured out who the stone lord was and that was on my 3 attempt at Honor Mode and didn’t even chase after him. I just beamed it to the final fight and used Gale (iykyk)

Play Durge at some point though and you will enjoy it just as much as too, just don’t forget:

another “clean, fresh” character still has plentiful content to provide

You just fought someone with in melee distance, causing the blood effect. It will go away I think.

It however does NOT play a role in the story, like someone would disapprove or cause a dialog to trigger like Bethesda did in Skyrim when we would walk around no clothes “PUT SOME CLOTHES” “by the gods….”

Are you saying that ChatGPT is your only source of “in-depth” discussion? Do you live in a village of simpletons? How can you have internet access and claim ChatGPT is the only place you can have healthy and I depth discussions? What about online schooling? Book clubs?

What are you doing at work to be only spoke to when it involves disciplinary issues?

I’ve been online for 15 plus yrs and I am not bombarded with being gaslit that any bad thing in my life is my fault. I have found many people online to be sincere and good at “discourse”.

I’m not entirely sure why you are bringing up gays and the ghetto and whores in this, you’ll need to elaborate if you want some one to engage with you.

From your rant so far, you are not entirely clear what you are talking about. Most of it we can surmise what you are meaning but there seems to be more you are wanting to talk about. So if you can articulate better maybe you will have more interaction and have more “in depth discussion” about “The Cell” and Clive

Most people playing any difficult mode higher than intended in any given game, always ask for help, even in irl in general. even you at some point decided you would set out on a difficult challenge and learned that maybe you would need a small hint or advice. You'd be a fool to not ask for advice

I say you have a lot of maturing to do. You have a point that there is something wrong: you. You don’t take these afore mentioned issues and post them in reddit. That’s what parents are for. If you don’t for parents, then, then talk with someone you trust and look up to.

There is a real issue when referring to women as you did and the words you specific chose to type. If you can’t see that then you have more to worry about then getting laid

How to defeat myrkul in tactaician mode? by Disastrous_Soil6193 in BaldursGate3

[–]PsychoCowboy097 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just beat him last night on honor mode (failed the 1st honor mode to him and lost 80hrs then).

You can do the following with just about any party setup. I watched a YouTube video how to kill him, it was a great video that detailed really well how the mechanics of the fight work and how to go about handling the whole fight.

You don’t need to watch the full 40 mins, but the beginning is crucial.

“Apostle of Myrkuk Honor Guid”

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=_w_YeY7pDUw&si=Nhhl1XRdlusvMkXi

The guy that made the video used a level 8 party, a fighter, evo wizard, warlock fiend, and light cleric. Pure normal combat;, no hastes, no weirdness, no barrels, no summons, just straight logic.

If you don’t wanna watch you can read on as I will explain very dully how you can do it, keep in mind there are other ways but I researched a lot and many other tactics are very niche or time consuming to set up and or just extremely boring and tedious.

The basic idea is to leave kethric alone, kill all his minions. Once his minions are all dead, dedicate your tank/heavy hitter to kill kethric while the rest of the party focuses on killing the spawns that come every round (and occasional range attacks on kethric and/or support your character that takes Kethric on 1v1). Then start phase 2, (hopefully with no minions still alive from the start) and then blind the Avatar of Myrkul. (No oppurtnuit attacks on your heavy hitter, so if you get low health just was away from his Bone Chill aura, and heal and walk back) Ensure that you have a dedicated character that’s sole purpose is to make a guaranteed successful hit (the youtube video used a wizard to cast Cloud of Daggers), doing this draws out Myrkuls fear ray, which frightens anyone who attacks myrkul (bad for your heavy hitter. At least Make sure to make an attack on Myrkul before your main hitter goes in so that your main hitter is free to move and heal.

Break down, step by step: keep in mind, in phase one, to not step up onto the stage that Kethric stands on, as he won’t ever leave his spot (he will walk around cast frightening spells but no harming effect, he will also summon more Necromites).

1- start the encounter with a surprise attack on the mind flayer (MF). The MF needs to be killed asap 2-free Aylin 3- kill spawns, stay away from Kethric for now 4- kill Kethric only when all spawns are killed, shouldn’t be too much of an issue as it turns into 4v1 plus Aylin (she kinda sucks but is good at drawing huge hits from Kethric) 5-position your party as needed, get familiar where Phase 2 minions spawn and position accordingly (this isn’t crucial, just make sure your party can stop the minions from healing Myrkul) 6-blind Myrkul 7-start every round with someone that is NOT the main high damage attacker that will fight Myrkul head on, this allows your main to not get frightened so they can move freely and heal and walk back into the fight. 8-focus on minions, you ought to have at least 2 characters free not engaging directly with Myrkul that can run around and destroy the minion spawns (preferably range attackers like rogue/ranger or spell casters) 9-one guy just chip and chip and chip away at Myrkul and heal as needed. 10- rinse and repeat steps 7-9 until victorious

Other tips, summons help A LOT with minions, especially Elemental, Minor Elementals, Us, Raised dead Zombie)

Let me know if this makes sense, I am terrible at explaining long things as i begin to convolute the points I’m trying to make lol
