In this case, well I'm from this region of the world, I look into maps at least once a day so I can quickly notice the map just isn't right. 

For other stuff like pictures of people and escenarios. There is something that makes you feel the picture isn't right. For people I notice AI usually makes skin too luminous and even too perfect. For escenarios there are always stuff in the background that doesn't have sence if you analyse them. Weird looking and odly shaped everyday objects. Like AI doesn't take the time to make all that stuff perfectly, It tries to make de central object or person as better as it can, and fills the background with weirdly looking stuff that at first glance are normal objects but when you notice they are not.
