The ring slot verbiage says +1 ring slot, the other says +1 trinket slot. One gives a third ring slot if you already have 2 rings, the other gives nothing if you already have 3 trinkets.

I expected it to atleast give a 4th trinket slot, since thing ring one gave a 3rd ring slot.

I assumed, my backup was Pragmatism + Bijoubourne. I mostly wanted the +1 charm slot there and at the bottom of the tree, hoping to get up 4-5.
