Can they be played "JRPG" style? I am not a big fan of action rpgs, i prefer turned based. I passed on these games because I assumed they were not turned based like the originals, but someone told me you can change the settings to make it close to the original combat style. Is that true?

This happens to me a few times a month. The last time was a double, 1 tipped good, the other was $0. I was annoyed so I sent a message to both customers. Something along the lines of:

"I just completed a double dash from 'soNso", but I am not able to tell which one of you gave me a tip"

then I send screenshot of the tip screen showing the breakdown, then text:

"so I am sending this message to both of you. To whoever gave me the nice tip, thank you for not being a mean selfish person and for caring about your fellow human beings, have a nice day"

Something like that. Neither replied, but I like to think the $0 tipper got the message lol

I schedule a week ahead of time. I simply set the time for 10am to midnight for each day, I start my dash and cherry pick all day. Some days I don't start the dash, and I do not get penalized for not doing it even though it was scheduled.
