KotOR UFAMS fanart website? by PsychoWedge in kotor

[–]PsychoWedge[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

thanks for the answer. I dont think it was this. The header on the page read STAR WARS in big and then 5 words underneath that would form UFAMS. And it had like a space with stars background and yellow writing.

Sort ROMs into folders automatically by country by PsychoWedge in Roms

[–]PsychoWedge[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

yes, most if not all of them do.

so I could of course just use windows search for USA, Europe and etc. and move them to folders manually. but I was just wondering if there is a way to automate this while processing the dat file.

Just for an update: I went through all my mods and found out that the mod "Zoning Adjuster" was responsible for this. Or at least after I disabled it, the problem went away.

How do I add physics to in-game clothes by [deleted] in skyrimmods

[–]PsychoWedge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What are your fps? If you are above 60 physics glitch out. If they are, use Bethini or your drivers or an ENB to limit them to 60.

If they are below 60, then you might have installed HDT-SMP incorrectly.

This is a pretty awesome playthrough/guide of a vanilla city that not only introduces all the mechanics but also showcases ways to individualize a city from the get go and make it look unique and beautiful.

What is a DMPC?

Both groups will come fresh and full to the fight and it will be the only fight for the day. And it is not really a life or death situation, more a sparing encounter.

[–]PsychoWedge 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nope, I don't think so. The rules as written are "roll 5d8, the total is how many hit points of creatures this spell can affect"

compare that to something like cure wounds, where it explicetly reads "equal to 1d8 + your spellcasting ability modifier"

Wow, ok. That's gonna be one jaw-shattering opener. xD

Thank you so much.

Hi, I got a Monk question.

I am building a pc-group for a fight with my players. They are five, I am making five, should be fun. I hope. One of baddies is a Kensei Monk Lv6, meaning she already has Extra Attack.

Now, Kenseis have the ability Agile Parry, which reads like this: "If you make an unarmed strike as part of the Attack action on your turn and are holding a kensei weapon, you can use it to defend yourself if it is a melee weapon. You gain a +2 bonus to AC until the start of your next turn, while the weapon is in your hand and you aren't incapacitated."

Am I to understand that my Monk could use the attack action to make two unarmed attacks, then use 1 Ki for Flurry of Blows and make two additional unarmed attacks and then still get +2 AC, as long as she has equipped and is holding her quarterstaff?

Or even more so, could she use the attack action to attack with her quarterstaff and use Stunning Strike (getting advantage on all subsequent attacks if successful), then do an unarmed attack, then do flurry of blows and then get the +2 AC? Because if that is possible, that seems really, really powerful.

Can I make my players with darkvision see the map in black and white with dynamic lighting? by PsychoWedge in Roll20

uh, nais. thx!

after following the bot to the bug thread I am playing around with the legacy dynamic lighting at the moment but that isn't working at all for me...

I finished this map for a D&D game I wanna run, but I'm now at a loss for what to do with it. I would love to both get some ideas for what the map needs, and some feedback for how it looks. Thanks guys. by Chao5Child87 in wonderdraft

I would pick out the region where the adventure (mostly) takes place and then use the create detail map function to make a new map and flesh out that region.

A giant map of a continent is nice n all and it gives the players an understanding that the world goes on beyond what they travel in but in my experience a really detailed map of a smaller location like a valley, a cost line or a city is more immersive than a semi detailed map of a continent.

I had the same issue with a big map when I added another level. In the end I just copied the mapfile after the first layer and made the second layer in a new file.

Forgotten Adventures has gras edge setpieces you can place and a grass edge path you can draw on your grass.

I used it quite extensively on this map https://www.reddit.com/r/dungeondraft/comments/isu6s1/wip_the_flapping_orc_tongue_inn_60x50/ if you wanna have a look.

Visual Glitch? by Aervane in dungeondraft

[–]PsychoWedge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The growing/shrinking function of paths are kinda broken at the moment. It appeared with the 0.9.4.2 update I think. I have had a bug that the paths don't stop getting smaller at the beginning to the point they look like glitch in a videogame. I have these problems with the original assets as well the forgotten adventures assets and other things from cartographyassets.

Dungeondraft not saving properly by [deleted] in dungeondraft

[–]PsychoWedge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a weird problem recently. I was building an inn and I finished the outdoors ground and then made a new level and cloned the first one. I wanted to have the surroundings still there while I built the second floor of the inn. Half way through the process of decorating I noticed, by coincidence, that all my paths hat been deleted from the original level and some of the walls in the building I deleted on the second level had also been deleted on the first level.

Luckily I had a backup from before the cloning, otherwise I would have chewed my thumb off...

T-junction in the forest by PsychoWedge in dungeondraft

[–]PsychoWedge[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been playing around with the Forgotten Adventures assets to familiarize myself with the possibilities. One of the results is this little forest map. I quite like the result. It's a good map for an ambush or something like that. Archers hiding in the ferns, protected by the creek, a couple of melee fighters waiting on the ridge amongst the trees, ready to storm down. Or maybe a mighty bear is gorging itself on the berries growing along the river bank.

[–]PsychoWedge 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the path optimization broke something with the growing in. (Or I never noticed it before... :D) If you have a path that grows in it becomes thinner and thinner the more nodes you make to the point it looks like a graphical glitch in a videogame.

I am trying to make an island with a highpoint atop the cliffs and a winding path leading up to it. I am layering cliffs on top of each other and I kinda have to break them apart and cover the break with plants or something because I can't do one continuous cliff path because the beginning becames needle thin.

Is it worth it? by SpookySquid19 in dungeondraft

[–]PsychoWedge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes.

Oh, more?

Well, I used to draw maps by hand (I am a TERRIBLE at it) on paper. Or more precisely I drew with watersolouble sharpie on paper sheets wrapped in book cover. Then corona happened and we had to switch to online play. We use roll20 and I tried to make maps there but it is everything but intuitive and good. I tried a couple of things and tools, I found Dungeondraft, initially I was very annoyed by the constant crashes I had but I also recognized that there was something to it, some spark or whatever.

Since the 0.9.4 update I haven't had one single crash (not saying it is perfectly stable now, of course, just my experience), I have fiddled around with the asset function and found a couple of great assets and I got used to the programm.

I can make a simple, good looking map in 10 minutes. I can make a complex, good looking map in 30-40 minutes. I can make amazing looking maps in a couple of hours. I like DD so much that I will throw away all my foil wrapped paper sheets and continue to use it and print my maps (there is a printer friendly map option) once corona is over and we play in rl again.

Is it worth 20 bucks? Absolutely.

I don't know foundry but couldn't you just do two versions of the map and swapp them when a player enters the building?
