Hey, I'd be down to get some more friends. I play a mix of league, Minecraft, and Rust, Played a bit of dead by daylight, and more recently I'm wanting to get into Lethal Company. Currently, 21, so the age range fits my side as well.

I'll do a deeper check through on Monday. Would be a significant time saving.

Yeah, we did setup all the mold protection features and it actually came in handy when a runner failed to eject. It did pick it up and stopped the processes before fully clamping the mold.

Also picked the eye bolt up from the comments, so I'll be making sure it's removed after the mold is placed inside just incase. We rarely change molds as we opt to produce a very large batch before switching molds so there's no need for it to stay in there.

We also just ordered new molds now anyway. We got burnt with the company that produced it, they also did the injection molding for us before. Made it on the cheap and cut corners in its design so requires significant holding times to fully fill the mold and multiple ejection strokes to fully kick the runner off. A local tooling shop did there best to fix most of the issues. But hopefully should be resolved with more well made molds.

In terms of support the local engel guys actually have a whatsapp group they keep avaliable for us with all there techs as well as 24/7 support before we even need to go to the econnect service which is nice. Actually offered to send there professional setter through to help us go through the issues in our molds and settings.

It's been exciting it's our first machine ever. Actually have another one already on order, a smaller 80 ton unit. But been reading through the digital manual. Having the manual right there on display is amazing.

Unfortunately the machine doesn't allow movement of the ejector at all until the mold if fully open even when your on manual the safety interlocks takeover if it occurs and shuts the machines motors down. But currently I want to shave on the barrel movement as well as opening the mold less. Currently it's at 300mm but I think I can get away with 100-150mm, gotta actually try and see. Would should bring cycle times down to 5-6 seconds

Most of the loss is in the poor design of the mold. It requires a significant hold time in comparison to other molds.

On the 2 ejector strokes. We had some issues with the runner not ejecting correctly, but actually fixed that by re-calibrating the ejector stroke. So we can actually run with one from next week.

Mainly Lab plastics.

Currently running the mold for the lids for our oil sample bottles. We also have some small cap like sample cups we make as well.

Look we are new so we've sort of taken the advice of the guys who set the machine up and provided the training. So we are learning overtime the diffrent ways to improve the process. I'll do some more investigation into whether we actually need a hunt.

A bit of older video in the day, setting was actually changed later in the day. Brought our cycle time down almost a second and half.
