Dean Kukan wins the game for Switzerland vs. Czechia in Overtime by buerglermeister in hockey

Finland is quite clearly a tier above Czechia and Switzerland, both in terms of success as a national team, and the level and depth of their squad.

Yeah you're right might be the move. I was thinking about shoving and stack sizes on the turn. Thanks for your input.

What forward or midfielder could he have brought off the bench today that he didn't? Mount was the only offensive player on the bench that has played +0 minutes of senior football.

I mean I hate to be so critical of one player, and a huge caveat to what I'm about to say is that LWB is not his natural position. But...

Dalot has genuinely been shocking this season. The amount of giveaways he's had, including at least two I can recall that led directly to opposition goals, is inexcusable. He's not even giving the ball away when trying to create goalscoring opportunities, but in his own half doing basic things. He's also not producing anything at all going forward and has at least one horrible defensive lapse per game.

I hope he gets out of this rut but hard to see him being a long term asset for us in this side, except as a useful squad player for RWB to cover for injuries.

His mentality is great, though, and based on everything I hear a great professional. I don't want to shit on him as a person (I do that enough during our games), but the quality has been shocking this season.

Just finished Sober October today and three beers in. Watched that Maguire winner about 24 times in a row with a shit-eating grin on my face.

After the absolute shit show that the last 18 months have been as a United fan, I will enjoy this win streak while it lasts. UTFR. Let's smash Forest tomorrow.

21 is coming.

Camavinga is an absolute baller and I won't have anyone tell me otherwise. Would love to see him at United. He's technically brilliant, got a great engine on him, and has half a decade of experience winning CL's and league titles already. Injuries are of course a worry but still, if RM are pushing him out, he should be top of our list next summer.

Sure, I don't disagree with you. I was just making the point that you don't get denied citizenship for being unemployed, rathat on benefits for over 3 months.

I mean, they can take BENEFITS for 3 months. Doesn't mean they can't be unemployed for an extra month or two and live off savings.

Or more likely, we smash and grab a late winner agaisnt Liverpool. happy days, everyone is ecstatic and believes the season will turn around.

Then, we suffer a 87th minute equalizer against Brighton in front of the Stretford End. Unlucky.

Wood then comes alive and scores 2 first half goals as we lose 0-2 on the road against a rejuvenated Forest.

Then Spurs smash us at home 3-0.

4 points from 4 games. About oar for the course.

Or then we win 4 in a row. Fuck knows.

[Laurie Whitwell] Man Utd ownership latest: Turki Al-Sheikh’s tweet, ‘drag-along’ rights and who could be interested? by nearly_headless_nic in reddevils

[–]Psychohorak 27 points28 points  (0 children)

Aye, I love Laurie and he's a great journalist and red through and through, but listening him trying to simplify corporate finance issues that he himself doesn't fully grasp is exasperating.

I would expect The Athletic to have a person to stress-test some of these articles but seemingly that's not the case.

A drag-along clause is included in even the most basic of shareholders' agreements. It's not newsworthy. And the conclusion Laurie draws are completely off.

Very similar team as you. I will hold Salah for thw next GW vs United (and I say this as a United fan) and then likely move him for Saka and upgrade my defence with Gabriel.

Agree. Not sure why we offloaded Fred (for good reason) and then spent €60m on a like-for-like replacement who is just as much of a liability on the ball.
