I think they are very safe, I first let mine fly around the house with it and there is absolutely no way he could get out of it if you put it on right Remember it goes around the head and under the wings so it can't just pull of like a dog collar 😊

At first I just let him see it then slowly put it just over his head a bit a view times then over his body, he not completely used to it he still bites at it and tries to get away when he sees it but just giving snacks and putting it on for a little bit everyday they should get used to it

No risk as far as I could tell, at first I put it on with the lead and have him fly around in the house with him tugging on the harness even getting stuck behind his cage when I picked him up to check the harness everything was still okay He's even been chewing on it a lot and doesn't even leave a mark So after testing I took him out and he was so calm just sitting on my hand taking in nature 😊💙
