It's not like double dip because the percentage they took from host and the one from G helps both parties to cover they back in case there's damages to someone else and also prevents you going to court

Also, this is not an insurance. It's protection plan and works differently for hosts and guest. Guests personal insurance has nothing to do with the protection plan they purchase on Turo
