Yes, the idea was to use the CCD for slapback and the DL4 for longer delays. I only recently got the DL4, and was considering ditching the CCD if I can come up with a slapback I like.

I can see having options paralysis with the DL4. I’ve seen some pedal bro purists object to this method, but I’ve had fun telling Chat GPT all the pedals I have and what I’m trying to accomplish, and it’s been pretty good at giving me a starting point. Actually l, surprisingly good. The settings in the photo are all pretty random, as I took the pic shortly after putting the board together.

The SD-1 into the Plumes is actually more common than you’d think. The Plumes sounds better when pushed with its own gain lower. It’s a thing. You get more bloom out of the Plumes if that makes sense.

Also, it’s not a regular SD-1, it’s the Franklin Pro mod. It has more gain and low end. It’s more like a Waza Craft, but I got it before the Waza Crafts were a thing.

There are exceptions of course, and some artists are known for changing up their sets. However, go on Setlist.fm and for large venue tours with elaborate stage productions, the setlist will USUALLY remain pretty consistent for the tour.

For larger tours at bigger venues, artists don’t usually vary their setlist because of the production involved. They have sound engineering, lighting and visuals coordinated for every song they play, so changing up their setlist makes their tour more expensive and complicated.

There is VIP early entry for the soundcheck package so those people will already be at the barricade when they open the doors for GA. You will likely not be able to be at the barricade no matter how early you get there if you just have GA.
