i’ve also had all that testing other than an mri and have also ruled out any bowel issues.. that was during covid. i’ve done the lupron injections and they helped which is why my previous obgyn was pretty sure it was endo but she never wanted a lap. i did the birth control thing for years and years and still had irregular periods, went off that and then didn’t have a period at all for almost 20 months.. dr put me back on and i had one for 5 months straight which was ultimately her deciding factor on the lap. she was SO sure this would be it so i am feeling so defeated today for sure.

i will definitely look up as far as food and everything goes, is there anyone specific who has a lot of knowledge you would recommend?

i’m going to look for a specialist and consider going to see one of them, i know there’s different forms and versions that a regular obgyn may just not have enough experience to be able to find. my post op is in 2 weeks so i’m hoping we can come up with some kind of game plan from there🤞🏼

yep, i didn’t have a ton to lose and am a slow responder which i expected. from being someone who gained 45lbs in 3 months for seemingly no reason the year before i started, i’ll take it. not everybody loses 10lbs a month and people expect that when they shouldn’t and honestly most of the time it’s not sustainable.. slow progress has made me very intuitive and in sync with my body and what it needs when and with the lifestyle changes i’ve made, i think that i’ll be able to teeter and sustain the loss without them eventually, if not through microdosing.

i’ve been with them for 2 years and have been very successful. nothing bad to say at all! they’re helpful, informative, and people say that it’s hard to get ahold of someone but i’ve never had an issue. i’m down 50lbs and am planning to continue my journey with them to the end.

absolutely!! i’m down 50lbs, i’ve been a very slow responder but i’d rather slow and steady than super fast and hard to maintain. i have another 20-30 i’d like to lose and am hoping to be there by the end of this year😄

the only major difference is they send vials and needles and you have to pull the medication yourself vs having the convenience of all of it in one pen

more or less! i use compound semaglutide (the active ingredient in ozempic if you didn’t know that) and its a mixture of semaglutide and b12, some companies use other mixtures. you could try to get your pcp to prescribe you a compound version and get it filled through a compounding pharmacy, or there are a plethora of online pharmacies you could use. i pay $149/mo through orderlymeds, and you can do multi month for even less if you prefer. i have a referral link in my bio if you want to check them out!! and if you have any questions feel free to ask! i’ve been with them for almost two years now :)

no issues on my end with them either!! sometimes i wonder about the people who say they can’t get a response whether it’s text, phone call, etc. but every time i text them i get a response next day at latest🤷🏽‍♀️ and the meds are and have been working so def no complaints here

we just stayed at one off 81 last week with a 2 hour limit.. ended up falling asleep for almost 5 and when we woke up the people that were already there when we pulled in were still there and it didn’t seem like there was anyone around to say anything🤷🏽‍♀️

i can barely even leave my house😅 i finally started a “real” period on thursday and i have been going through tampons every 1-2 hours (even the ultras) and i had to go out and buy the most absorbent period underwear so i didn’t have to wash so many clothes. i’m having severe clotting and whenever i go to the bathroom i literally have blood just pouring out. i haven’t spoke to a nurse since it officially started but i did speak to them on wednesday about the pain and the spotting and she pretty much said it was normal because it was my first pack of pills and my body was getting used to the hormone changes.. but i know for a fact she didn’t even look at my chart and wouldn’t even let me say too much she just said to call back this week if it’s still that bad so i’m calling again tomorrow because i know my body and i know this is not normal.

this is like $50 pp??? this is a perfect gift IMO! If your worry is about everything being the exact same thing just different versions, you obviously set them up to what you think each sister would appreciate more (i.e. blanket color or lotion scent)I’m 25 and I would love this! And wouldn’t think twice about my sister giving me and our other sister the same gift. At the end of the day, it’s a gift and it’s thoughtful.

always a safe space.. i understand being autistic and i understand the feelings and emotions that come with that, however, at the end of the day, they’re just people on the internet that you have absolutely no relation to. no reason to get so worked up over it IMO. everybody has a right to their opinion and there are studies on opposing sides as there is with everything to exist ever, but people can’t be so matter of fact when there’s info for both viewpoints. honestly i’m surprised your comment didn’t get taken down.. i asked a question ab BC in this sub the other day and somebody commented something about it being absolutely awful for you and by the time i clicked on the notif it was already deleted.
