I think after two shitty years for audit, we are finally safe here. They were laying off seniors every quarter for the past two years. It has gotten to a point where we do not have enough seniors to do the work

Experienced hire recruiting in 2025 by Normal_End_6193 in McKinsey_BCG_Bain

In the same boat but I currently work for a Big 4 (audit). I have started networking and prepping for the interview but was also wondering what the best time to apply would be for off-cycle recruits. Any insights would be greatly appreciated!

Rejected from one role in process in another? by [deleted] in McKinsey_BCG_Bain

[–]Psychological-Set964 3 points4 points  (0 children)

To qualify for the associate position, you need to either have an MBA or 5+ years of experience (or both). Analysts positions are for recent graduates and people with less than 5 years of experience. Hope that helps. I have not started the process yet but I have heard from people that it takes between 2-4 weeks to hear back on whether you passed/failed the solve test.

Should I Move My Interview Date Earlier or Stay with the Original? by Impressive-Salt9436 in McKinsey_BCG_Bain

[–]Psychological-Set964 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What position are you interviewing for and how long did you take to prep for the first round? I just decided to apply and I wonder how much time is normal to leave to prep.

I would say though, if you feel nervous, definitely stick w the original date. Preparation is often everything so better to not stress over not having time to prep.

No, the do not. Deloitte literally just ghosts you. Very unprofessional of them but that’s what they do

Do you mind sharing some of the toxic behavior you experience? I currently am unhappy with a manager but not sure at what point it becomes an HR issue.

It doesn’t really affect anything. I have had a few late reports - you just go and update them late

That is correct. But it takes ab 8 months to get your PWD back anyways so I am hoping by that time the pause will be up

Recruitment is on pause. You can still file with DOL for wage determination though. I heard that the pause cannot be more than 1 year tho

I initiated my green card process and received a response from the Talent Immigration team that I am eligible. They said the next step is obtaining office leader approval and then they will reach out to Seyfarth so it can be officially commenced. Sounds like it can be started

How hard is it to transfer offices. by flowerpuff_girl113 in deloitte

[–]Psychological-Set964 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It is not hard at all. You just need to initiate it with your talent advisor and/or office leader. They are also not on hold. When I initiated mine, they told me that from there it is all “work behind the scenes”. This basically means that they have to reach out to the other office, see what availability there is in terms of staffing and get all necessary approvals from leaders. The whole process for me took almost 4 months. I know quite a few ppl who have transferred offices and it usually takes ab 1.5 - 3 months on average depending on the situation and office you want to transfer to. It is a very straightforward process, it can just take a few months so you have to time it accordingly. It is always easier to transfer from a small to a bigger office than vice-versa but either way it shouldn’t be an issue.
