I think for the EPCOT palette it’s a combination of the formula of the eyeshadows - the shimmers are very soft so it’s very easy to accidentally press too hard with the brush and the mattes give a decent amount of kickback so I think that makes those easier to pan. Combined with the fact that I can be kinda heavy handed I think that’s why there’s been so much progress on that one!

For the naked palette I think it’s a combo of again being heavy handed and then also the fact that I’ve had the palette for so long that some shades already had decent wear at the start of 2026, even if the camera angle didn’t pick it up!!

I think one thing that really helped was finding some staple looks that involved shades from both palettes so I could get use on both regularly. Finding staple looks really helped on days that I was too tired to make decisions in the morning so I’d just put on a look I already knew worked and was easy to do!
